The FiiO EA13 is a six-tube stereo power amplifier rated for up to 28W per channel into 8-ohm speakers. It could suit a system built around passive speakers and analog sources, but it is not a streaming receiver: digital sources need a separate DAC, and a turntable without a built-in phono stage needs one upstream. What the FiiO EA13 is—and what it is not
The EA13 is a full-size stereo tube power amplifier. Its signal path uses two Sylvania NOS PCF80 preamp tubes and four Czech JJ Electronic EL34 power tubes, in a Class A push-pull design. Those are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of sound quality.

Will 28W per channel drive your speakers?
FiiO rates the EA13 at up to 28W+28W into 8Ω and says it can drive most bookshelf speakers and select floor-standing models. That broad manufacturer guidance cannot guarantee a good match for every speaker, room, or listening level.

Before buying, check your speakers’ nominal impedance and sensitivity, then consider listening distance, room size, and how loudly you want to play music. The 4Ω and 8Ω output options are relevant to speaker impedance, but the published wattage alone does not establish how a particular pairing will perform. The available product information does not report tests of specific speaker combinations.

- Digital playback: A computer, phone, or other digital source needs a separate DAC to provide an analog RCA signal.
- Turntable playback: A turntable without a built-in phono stage needs an external phono stage between the turntable and amplifier.
- Passive speakers: The EA13 provides speaker outputs; confirm that your speakers and their impedance suit the amplifier.
- Headphones: The front-end option listed is a 6.35mm single-ended output. Check your headphone plug and any adapter requirements.

TechRadar’s August 25, 2026 article record reports launch pricing of $769, £769, and approximately AU$1,464. Those are reported launch figures, not confirmed current prices. FiiO’s August 28, 2026 announcement says the EA13 is available, while noting that shipments to some regions may still be in transit and advising buyers to contact local distributors for estimates. Practical ownership details
FiiO says the EA13 enters standby after 30 minutes without a signal. The listed box contents include an AC cord, quick start guide, screwdriver, screws, and warranty card. Because the product uses power and preamp tubes, plan its placement with adequate ventilation; the sources do not specify tube replacement intervals or costs.
