Use Nintendo’s button mapping if a control feels awkward
Nintendo documents a system-level button mapping option that can change or disable supported controller inputs. Its terminology is “Change Button Mapping”; “button remapping” is also commonly used for the same kind of adjustment.
- From the HOME Menu, open System Settings > Controllers and Sensors > Change Button Mapping.
- Select the connected controller and choose Change.
