If you can’t submit an Ultimate Team Squad Building Challenge (SBC), first check that the challenge is still active and that your squad meets the requirements shown on its page. If both checks pass, try submitting the same challenge in another supported surface—the game, EA SPORTS FC Web App, or Companion App—to see whether the failure is limited to one interface. Neither step identifies every possible cause, but they help narrow down what to do next.
Why can’t I submit my SBC?
The cause depends on what happens with the specific challenge and squad. An SBC will not accept a squad if the challenge has expired, and the squad must satisfy the conditions currently displayed for that challenge. A failure that occurs in one interface but not another may point to a surface-specific issue, though reports of that behavior are anecdotal and from earlier FC versions.

Check the active challenge and its requirements
Open the exact SBC you intend to complete and compare your selected squad against the requirements currently shown there. FC 26 SBCs can use conditions such as Squad Rating, Chemistry, Player Quality, Leagues, Nations, and Clubs. Which conditions apply depends on the challenge, so an old solution or remembered requirement may no longer be enough.

- Open the specific SBC. Read the current requirements on its challenge screen.
- Inspect the submitted squad. Check each displayed condition rather than assuming that meeting the rating alone is sufficient.
- Change only what is needed. Replace items that fail a listed condition, then review the squad against the full set of requirements again.
- Check the expiry time. If the challenge has expired, it no longer accepts submissions. EA explains SBC requirements and expiry.
Review the items before you retry
Do not use repeated retries as a reason to submit players you meant to keep. EA says SBC submissions are final: Player Items submitted to an SBC are permanently removed from your Club, including items submitted as partial progress, and EA Advisors cannot restore them. Test another submission surface
If the game fails, try the same challenge in the EA SPORTS FC Web App or Companion App; if an app fails, try the game. EA forum guidance has suggested testing all three surfaces, and a player report described a submission that failed in-game but worked through the companion and web apps. Those reports concern FC 24-era cases, so they support using another surface as a diagnostic—not a guaranteed FC 26 fix or a ranking of platform reliability.
- If the same squad submits elsewhere, note which surface worked and which did not.
- If it fails in every surface, continue to EA Help rather than assuming a specific account or service problem.

For a useful support report, include the game title and version, platform, exact SBC, exact error text, when you saw it, and whether the same submission worked in the game, Web App, or Companion App. These details help describe the case; EA does not publish them as a mandatory checklist.

What a failed-submission message does not prove
Messages and forum titles include phrases such as “Failed to Submit Challenge” and “Can’t submit SBC,” but those reports are not an exhaustive list of current FC 26 error wording. A generic failure by itself does not confirm a soft ban, account restriction, rate limit, duplication conflict, stale squad cache, server-side bug, or any particular network configuration. Treat those explanations as unconfirmed unless EA or reproducible evidence from your case identifies one.
