NanoReview’s reported results favor Exynos 2400 in Geekbench 6, AnTuTu 11, and 3DMark Steel Nomad Light. In that graphics test, however, Tensor G4 has the higher stability figure. These results suggest a broad performance advantage for Exynos 2400 in the cited tests—not a guarantee of better performance, battery life, or gaming on every phone.
Exynos 2400 vs Tensor G4: key specifications
Samsung’s official Exynos 2400 page describes a deca-core CPU and an Xclipse 940 GPU based on AMD RDNA 3, with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Samsung says the chip uses a third-generation 4 nm low-power process and is its first processor to use fan-out wafer-level packaging (FOWLP). Samsung’s Exynos 2400 specifications

The comparison pages describe Tensor G4 as an eight-core design with Mali-G715 MP7 graphics. NanoReview lists a maximum CPU clock of 3.1 GHz and GPU clock of 940 MHz. These are third-party reported specifications; the sources used here do not establish them as official Google specifications. Samsung advertises on-device AI functions and says Exynos 2400 delivers a 14.7-fold AI improvement over Exynos 2200. That is a manufacturer claim against its predecessor, not a measured comparison with Tensor G4. Samsung also lists support for camera sensors up to 320 MP, four-camera configurations, 8K recording, and a 5G NR modem supporting 3GPP Release 17 and non-terrestrial network satellite connections.

Samsung’s stated modem peak downlink capabilities are up to 9.6 Gbps in FR1 and 12.1 Gbps in FR2. They are specifications, not expected everyday speeds: actual connectivity depends on the phone’s implementation, network, and conditions. Samsung also says FOWLP improves heat resistance by 23% in single-core and 8% in multi-core performance versus its previous packaging type; these are Samsung’s comparisons, not results against Tensor G4. Benchmark results: Exynos 2400 leads the reported tests
The table keeps each source’s results separate. NanoReview reports user-submitted aggregate data with different sample counts for the two chips; 91mobiles reports another set of scores. Neither source establishes a controlled test using the same phone, software, and temperature conditions.

NanoReview’s benchmark comparison and 91mobiles’ benchmark comparison
How to interpret the scores
- CPU: Both sources report higher Exynos 2400 scores in their CPU comparisons. NanoReview’s Geekbench 6 results show the largest gap in multi-core performance, but unequal sample counts and device variation mean those figures should not be treated as a matched-chip test.
- Overall benchmark: NanoReview’s AnTuTu 11 total favors Exynos 2400. AnTuTu combines CPU, GPU, memory, and user-experience components, so it is not a pure CPU or gaming score.
- Graphics: Exynos 2400 has the higher Steel Nomad Light score in NanoReview’s results, while Tensor G4 has the higher stability figure. A peak score and stability are different measures; neither directly predicts frame rates in a particular game.
- Source differences: The reported scores differ between NanoReview and 91mobiles. The 91mobiles page also gives two Tensor G4 AnTuTu totals: its detailed comparison and headline show 1,400,792, while a separate summary field shows 1,610,292. Its displayed CPU/GPU/memory/UX breakdown corresponds to 1,400,792, so the discrepancy should not be hidden or averaged away.
Which chip is better for gaming, AI, or battery life?
Gaming and graphics
The cited Steel Nomad Light result supports a higher peak graphics score for Exynos 2400, while Tensor G4’s reported stability is higher. That is useful context, but it does not establish which chip delivers better sustained frame rates in a particular game or handset. Phone cooling, power limits, software, and the game itself also shape the experience.

AI and imaging
Samsung’s published AI, camera, and video capabilities describe Exynos 2400’s supported features. The 14.7-fold AI figure compares it with Exynos 2200, not Tensor G4. The available comparisons do not supply a directly comparable AI workload or imaging test across both chips, so these feature claims do not determine an overall winner.
Battery life and sustained performance
The available comparison data do not establish which chip provides better real-world battery life in matched phones. A site battery rating without a disclosed matched test protocol cannot answer that question. Likewise, the graphics stability figures are not a controlled comparison of long-term performance or battery drain across otherwise equivalent devices.
