The Exynos 1380 leads the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 in the benchmark scores reported by 91Mobiles, including AnTuTu and Geekbench. The chips also differ in their published CPU and GPU details, manufacturing process claims, and platform features. Those results are useful context, not a guarantee that every phone with one chip will outperform every phone with the other: cooling, firmware, power limits, and test conditions matter.
How the chip specifications compare
The table summarizes manufacturer-published specifications. Samsung and Qualcomm describe their own platforms, so these figures are not the result of a controlled comparison between the two chips.

| Specification | Samsung Exynos 1380 | Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 |
|---|---|---|
| Process | 5 nm FinFET, according to Samsung Semiconductor | 6 nm, according to Qualcomm |
| CPU | Four Arm Cortex-A78 cores up to 2.4 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0 GHz | 64-bit Kryo CPU up to 2.3 GHz; Qualcomm’s public specifications do not state the core-cluster configuration |
| GPU | Five-core Arm Mali-G68 at 950 MHz | Adreno GPU; Qualcomm’s retrieved public specification does not identify a model number |
| 5G modem and advertised peak speeds | Integrated modem; Samsung advertises up to 3.79 Gbps download and 1.28 Gbps upload | Snapdragon X51 5G Modem-RF; Qualcomm advertises peak download up to 2.5 Gbps and sub-6 GHz and mmWave support |
| Other stated features | NPU, triple ISP, support for image sensors up to 200 MP, and Full HD+ refresh rates up to 144 Hz | Hexagon Vector eXtensions, Sensing Hub, Spectra Triple ISP, FHD+ up to 120 fps, and Quick Charge 4+ support |
The modem figures are manufacturers’ theoretical maxima, not directly comparable network tests. Real-world connectivity depends on the phone’s implementation, regional bands, carrier, and conditions. Samsung’s feature page also notes that specifications can vary by device and region. Samsung describes its four Cortex-A78 cores as intended for performance-intensive work; that is manufacturer product wording, not independent validation.

91Mobiles’ comparison page reports the following scores. The page labels them as tests by 91Mobiles, but the retrieved information does not give a benchmark publication year or enough device and protocol details to establish a controlled head-to-head.

| Benchmark | Exynos 1380 | Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu total | 612,769 | 471,687 |
| Geekbench single-core | 1,025 | 936 |
| Geekbench multi-core | 2,962 | 2,213 |
In this snapshot, the Exynos 1380 scores higher in all three reported totals. The 91Mobiles page also breaks AnTuTu into components:
| AnTuTu component | Exynos 1380 | Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | 198,174 | 150,469 |
| GPU | 132,614 | 90,187 |
| Memory | 125,832 | 103,962 |
| UX | 156,149 | 127,069 |
These are source-specific results, not scores guaranteed for every handset. The available comparison does not provide enough matched-device and test-method detail to treat the numbers as universal measurements. Benchmark version, phone cooling, software, power limits, and test conditions can change results. CPU-Monkey’s comparison page, updated October 3, 2026, also reports an Exynos 1380 advantage in its CPU benchmark comparison, but it is another benchmark snapshot rather than proof of how all phones perform.

What the scores mean for gaming and everyday use
The listed CPU and GPU specifications help describe each platform, while benchmark results offer a limited performance snapshot. They do not establish sustained gaming frame rates, temperatures, or battery life. No directly comparable named independent test of those real-world measures is established in the cited material.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFor gaming, look for tests of the exact phone models, especially sustained frame rates and heat after extended play. A GPU name or a short benchmark run alone cannot tell you how a handset will behave over a longer session. For everyday responsiveness, the single-core result is one clue, but the phone’s software and storage also affect how it feels.
Rank #3

Which phone should you choose?
Choose between complete handset models, not processor names alone. For example, 91Mobiles lists the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G as an Exynos 1380 phone; that example does not make its phone-level results interchangeable with generic chipset scores. The cited comparison does not establish a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 handset that can serve as a matched counterpart.
Before deciding, compare the exact regional variants and check:
Rank #4
- PRIVACY DISPLAY: Automatically hide your screen from those beside you. The built-in privacy display can be preset¹ to turn on when receiving notifications, typing passwords, or using specific apps
- TYPE IT IN. TRANSFORM IT FAST: Enhance any shot in seconds on your smartphone by using Photo Assist² with Galaxy AI.³ Add objects, restore details, or apply new styles by simply typing or tapping

- MAKE IT. EDIT IT. SHARE IT: Turn everyday moments into something personal with creative tools built right into your mobile phone, whether it’s a special contact photo, custom wallpaper, an invitation or more⁴
- HELP THAT KEEPS UP: Stay in the moment while Now Nudge with Galaxy AI helps you respond faster and stay organized with smart suggestions⁵ that appear exactly when you need them on your phone
- Benchmark version, test phone, and whether results come from comparable conditions.
- Long-session gaming tests, cooling behavior, and battery-life measurements for the handset models.
- RAM, storage, display, battery, and software support on each phone.
- 5G bands and carrier compatibility for your region; chipset-level modem claims do not confirm support in every handset.
- Price and availability for the exact model and configuration you can buy.
The available evidence favors the Exynos 1380 in the cited benchmark snapshots. It does not establish a universal winner for gaming, battery life, connectivity, or overall phone value.
