Its newer CPU cores, Mali-G68 graphics, 5G modem and support for faster memory and storage distinguish it from MediaTek’s older, 4G-only Helio G35. The scores are database aggregates—not a controlled test of two matched phones—and a phone’s real-world experience also depends on its implementation.

Why the Exynos 1330 is faster
Both processors have eight CPU cores, but core count alone is a poor measure of speed. The Exynos 1330 pairs two Cortex-A78 performance cores with six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. The G35 uses eight Cortex-A53 cores in two clock-speed groups. The newer A78-based design gives the Exynos a significant architectural advantage for demanding foreground tasks, while the A55 cores handle lighter work more efficiently than the G35’s older A53 design.

The Exynos also has a newer graphics platform and can be paired with faster memory and storage options. Those differences can help with graphics, app loading and multitasking, although actual results depend on the phone’s memory configuration, cooling, software and workload.

These are NanoReview’s 2026 database aggregates, not scores guaranteed for every phone using either processor. The sample sizes are especially small for the G35, and the figures do not establish that both chips were tested in identical retail devices or under the same conditions. Geekbench says its mobile chart uses user-submitted Geekbench 6 results; see its mobile benchmarks methodology.
The available measurements point consistently toward the Exynos 1330 for overall and CPU performance. Treat the exact score gap as indicative rather than as a promise about how two specific phones will compare.

Gaming: what the available figures can—and cannot—show
NanoReview lists these illustrative Helio G35 gaming results from a Xiaomi Poco C3 running at 720 × 1600 resolution:
- PUBG Mobile: 23 fps on low settings
- Call of Duty: Mobile: 29 fps on medium settings
- Shadowgun Legends: 30 fps on low settings
- World of Tanks Blitz: 43 fps on low settings
- Mobile Legends: Bang Bang: 29 fps on low settings
The comparison does not provide corresponding Exynos 1330 frame rates, so these numbers cannot establish a direct gaming-performance margin. NanoReview notes that frame rates vary with game version, operating system and other factors. Game compatibility and playable settings can also vary by phone.

Does the Helio G35 support 5G?
No. MediaTek specifies the Helio G35 as a 4G LTE platform and lists dual 4G SIM support. The Exynos 1330 includes a sub-6 GHz 5G modem. Samsung advertises peak modem rates of up to 2.55 Gbps down and 1.28 Gbps up; these are theoretical platform maxima, not expected speeds on every network or handset.
Actual 5G availability depends on the phone’s regional model, supported bands, carrier and network coverage. A chipset’s modem capability alone does not confirm that a particular phone supports every local 5G band.

Which one should you choose?
For chipset capability, the Exynos 1330 is the clear choice: it has newer CPU cores, a stronger platform specification, 5G and broader support for newer memory and storage. The Helio G35 is an older 4G design with more limited platform options.
