Expand Energy’s June 30, 2026 Form 10-Q does not disclose a separate construction-in-progress (CIP) balance. The title’s €0.00 million figure is therefore unverified—not a company-reported amount and not evidence that the company had no construction in progress. The filing instead reports property and equipment in broader categories.
Does Expand Energy report construction in progress separately?
No. Expand Energy’s Form 10-Q for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, filed July 28, 2026, lists proved natural gas and oil properties, unproved properties, and other property and equipment. It does not provide a standalone CIP line or identify a €0.00 million CIP balance. The absence of a separate line does not establish that the underlying amount is zero.

At June 30, the filing reports total property and equipment of $34,140 million before accumulated depreciation, depletion, and amortization, and $24,450 million net. Those are company-reported balance-sheet totals, not a CIP figure.

The €0.00 million amount is not corroborated by the reviewed company filing. It should not be cited as Expand Energy’s reported construction-in-progress balance. The filing reports its property and equipment in broader categories, so the separate CIP amount cannot be determined from that disclosure.

How to distinguish property balances from capital spending
A property-and-equipment balance is measured at a point in time; capital expenditures measure spending over a period. Expand Energy’s reported figures also differ depending on whether they refer to cash paid or accrued spending.

The cash capital expenditure figures come from the filing’s cash-flow statement; accrued capital expenditures are reported separately in the company’s results release. They answer different accounting questions and should not be substituted for one another.

Company context behind the figures
In its Q2 2026 results release, Expand Energy reported net production of approximately 7.48 Bcfe/d for the quarter, with 92% from natural gas. The company reaffirmed full-year 2026 production guidance of 7.4–7.6 Bcfe/d and projected capital expenditures of approximately $2.75–$2.95 billion. These are company guidance and forward-looking estimates, not actual year-end results.
The Form 10-Q says the company expected to turn in line 205–235 gross wells in 2026 using approximately 11–12 rigs. It also states that plans may change in response to developments in the business, financial position, industry, or markets. Expand Energy describes itself in the filing as “the largest natural gas producer in the U.S., based on net daily production”; that is the company’s characterization.

Which Expand Energy ticker does CS1d refer to?
The identifiers refer to different trading contexts. Cboe Europe’s notice identifies Expand Energy Corp as UMTF name CS1d, with ISIN US1651677353 and EUR currency; it states that the listing became effective April 7, 2026. Expand Energy’s U.S. common stock ticker is NASDAQ: EXE. CS1d should not be mistaken for the U.S. ticker.

The 10-Q disclosed that Expand Energy agreed on July 24, 2026, to acquire Twin Eagle Holdings for approximately $1.25 billion, subject to customary adjustments, closing conditions, and regulatory approvals. The filing expected closing in Q3 2026; the sources cited here do not establish whether the transaction later closed.
