eVPS.net vs VPSie: Which VPS Fits Your Budget and Workload?

eVPS.net lists a €5/month Bulgaria-based NVMe VPS, while VPSie’s $5/month shared plan has fewer resources and a broader catalog behind it. Compare the terms, not just the prices.

There is no proven overall winner between eVPS.net and VPSie. eVPS.net’s listed €5/month entry plan offers 3 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe storage and 5 TB of bandwidth, and the company identifies Bulgaria as its main data-center location. VPSie’s $5/month shared plan has 1 GB RAM, 10 GB SSD storage and 1 TB of transfer, while its catalog lists more specialized plan categories. The prices are in different currencies and the plans are not equivalent, so choose by workload, location, tax-inclusive cost and the terms that matter to you.

Provider pages were checked on October 7, 2026. Prices, plan availability and terms can change; confirm the live checkout total and current contract before buying.

How do the entry plans compare?

Provider and plan Listed price Published resources Important qualification
eVPS.net entry VPS €5/month 1 CPU core, 3 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe, 5 TB bandwidth Price excludes VAT. The package page lists quarterly, half-yearly and annual billing discounts, as well as backups as included.
VPSie shared A0 $5/month 1 CPU, 1 GB RAM, 10 GB SSD, 1 TB transfer The packages page also lists hourly billing and other plan categories. Check current availability and checkout charges.

These are the providers’ listed prices and configurations, not a like-for-like price test. They use different currencies, and the eVPS.net figure is explicitly before VAT. Compare the resources you actually need and the final price in your billing currency rather than treating the matching numeral as an equivalent offer.

Which provider fits your workload?

Choose eVPS.net for a low-cost European NVMe configuration

eVPS.net publishes NVMe VPS plans, including the entry configuration above, and identifies Bulgaria as its main data center in the European Union. Its official package page lists backups as included, but that does not by itself establish retention length, restore procedure or recovery guarantees. Confirm those details, along with the VAT-inclusive checkout price, before using the plan for important data.

Consider VPSie when you need more plan categories

VPSie lists shared, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, GPU-enabled and NVMe-enabled categories. That range may make it easier to look for a configuration aligned with a particular workload, but category labels alone do not establish performance or availability in a specific location. Match CPU, memory, storage and transfer to your needs, then verify the selected plan and region at checkout.

Where are the servers, and why does location matter?

eVPS.net identifies Bulgaria as its main facility and presents its platform as European. VPSie describes worldwide coverage; its retrieved homepage names New York and New Jersey among its locations. That homepage statement does not establish that every VPSie plan is offered in every listed region.

For a website or application, the useful location is the one that serves your users well and meets any data-residency requirements. Check the exact region available for your chosen plan. If latency matters, test from the audience’s target region before committing; a provider’s location list is not a latency measurement.

What do the uptime claims and SLAs actually cover?

The published figures describe provider commitments, not independently measured uptime. They also cover different scopes and should not be compared as if they were results from the same test.

Provider Published claim Scope and qualification
eVPS.net 99.95% network uptime Stated on its datacenter page. Its homepage separately states a 99.9% monthly guarantee for network, data-center HVAC and power for unmanaged-support servers; this is a distinct claim with a different stated scope.
VPSie 99.99% network uptime and 99.99% critical-infrastructure availability Stated in its SLA, which excludes scheduled maintenance and defines measurement, service credits and the claim process.

Before relying on either commitment for production, read the applicable terms for the covered service, exclusions, eligibility, remedy and deadline for making a claim. A percentage alone does not tell you what happens when service falls short.

How do support, backups and network features compare?

Support

eVPS.net advertises 24/7 support and a maximum 20-minute response time for a technical ticket. VPSie’s terms identify telephone and online technical support, but the reviewed material does not establish a directly comparable first-response time. A response-time claim is not a promise that an issue will be resolved within that time; ask both providers about support scope and escalation for your workload.

Backups

eVPS.net lists backups as included in its displayed packages, without that listing alone establishing retention or restore guarantees. VPSie’s SLA says customers are responsible for ensuring data on servers managed through VPSie is backed up. For either provider, confirm whether backups are automatic, how long they are retained, where they are stored, whether restores cost extra and how quickly recovery can be requested.

Connectivity and protection

eVPS.net’s datacenter page states a 1 Gbps uplink, DDoS mitigation of up to 100 Gbps and a /64 IPv6 subnet for each VPS. These are provider-published specifications, not independent tests of throughput or attack handling. The FAQ also discusses IPv4, IPv6 and firewall terms, so check the current details for the package you intend to use.

How should you decide?

  • Lean toward eVPS.net if the published entry configuration’s NVMe storage, included resources and Bulgaria-based location suit your requirements, and the final VAT-inclusive price and backup terms work for you.
  • Evaluate VPSie if its broader set of plan categories better matches your workload or its SLA commitments are important to you, after confirming the specific plan, region and remedy process.
  • For a production service, validate the plan from your users’ region and review the applicable support, backup and SLA terms before moving critical workloads.

Neither provider has a substantiated performance advantage here: there is no independent latency, load or uptime comparison behind these published claims. Your best fit depends on the resources you need, where your users are, and which contractual protections you can verify.
