For a concrete local example, Comcast’s Massachusetts VoiceEdge list effective May 1, 2026 shows monthly seat prices of $24.95 to $44.95, plus a $14.95 equipment fee. Those are not national rates or a quote for another service address.
Which Comcast Business phone service fits your setup?
Comcast describes its Business Voice Service as an IP-enabled communications service for real-time, two-way voice. Its options serve different kinds of phone systems, so compare the deployment model and workflow before comparing prices.

Voice Mobility: a business number across devices
Voice Mobility is intended for using a business number across devices, including office, point-of-sale, or fax use. Comcast describes it as including unlimited nationwide calling and popular calling features. Business.com also describes mobile integration and considers it a possible fit for small and midsize businesses. Confirm local pricing and whether a bundle is required at your address. Comcast’s business phone overview and Business.com’s review describe the service.

UCaaS Sessions: connecting existing systems
Business.com describes UCaaS Sessions as over-the-top SIP trunking priced per concurrent session, connecting qualifying PBX, contact-center, or Microsoft Teams deployments. It is worth investigating if you already operate compatible systems and need sessions for them; it should not be assumed to be a plug-and-play replacement for a hosted phone system. Eligibility, configuration, and current pricing need confirmation with Comcast.
PRI or SIP trunks: keep or extend a PBX
Comcast presents PRI as an option for existing PBX equipment and SIP trunking as a scalable choice for multi-site deployments with continuity features. These are trunking approaches, not the same purchase as VoiceEdge per-seat service. Ask how the proposed service will connect to your existing PBX and what capacity and continuity features are included. See Comcast’s phone and voice solutions.

How much is a Comcast Business phone line?
There is no single line price that applies to every Comcast voice product or location. For a different product and market example, Business.com reports Voice Mobility in its Illinois example at $44.95 per month when bundled with another Comcast service or $64.95 standalone, with voicemail at $5 per line and an equipment fee of $27.95. These are reviewer-reported Illinois figures, not the Massachusetts VoiceEdge seat rates above; verify current local pricing with Comcast. Business.com’s review.
What can change the amount on your quote?
Comcast says pricing lists are location-specific and that service may not be available everywhere. A published list or another market’s reviewer example cannot establish the price for your service address. Request a written quote for that address and check each cost component before signing.

Do not treat a Webex- or Teams-labelled seat as proof that every collaboration feature you need is included. Confirm whether the selected seat supports the required meetings, messaging, and calling workflow, and whether availability or configuration depends on your location or deployment. VoiceEdge feature and device terms are in Comcast’s Business VoiceEdge product-specific attachment.
Is Comcast Business a good fit?
Business.com’s assessment is that Comcast may be strongest for larger or multi-location organizations with complex network needs, a preference for consolidated Comcast services, or teams standardized on Webex or Microsoft Teams. The same review cautions that small businesses seeking transparent, self-service pricing may want to compare other providers; it also notes that availability varies by market and enterprise pricing may require a quote. These are the reviewer’s judgments, not the results of hands-on testing for this article.
Compare options against your actual requirements, not a headline rate. Dialpad, Nextiva, and RingCentral are comparison candidates named by Business.com for businesses looking for flexible pricing or broader built-in collaboration; this is not a tested ranking. Use the same criteria for each written proposal:
