Yes. Google lists Pixel 9 among the devices that support Satellite SOS, although Pixel 9a is excluded. The feature lets you text emergency services by satellite when you have no mobile or Wi-Fi connection, but it is available only in listed locations and does not guarantee coverage.
Before relying on it, update your phone and APIs, check that Satellite SOS is active in Settings, and make sure Google Messages is your default messaging app. Google says to use the service only in exceptional circumstances when no other way to reach emergency services is available.

Does Pixel 9 have Satellite SOS?
Yes. Google Pixel Phone Help says Satellite SOS is available on Pixel devices since Pixel 9, except Pixel 9a. Your phone also needs the required software and APIs updated and must be registered with the satellite network. Google says you will be notified when the feature becomes active; you can also check its status in Settings. Google Messages must be your default messaging app. Changing the default triggers a notification that Satellite SOS will no longer be available. Google Pixel Phone Help

How do I use Satellite SOS on my Pixel 9?
Use Satellite SOS only for an exceptional emergency when no other means of reaching emergency services is available. Google describes a text-based emergency flow, not ordinary voice calling or general satellite internet. Follow the on-screen prompts; connection and response times vary.

What information is shared?
Google Messages’ Data Safety information says that when you initiate a satellite emergency text session, information is collected and shared with your consent. It describes precise location from your device and a less precise location from the satellite; Google’s server temporarily queues both until forwarding them to the emergency service provider. You can choose whether to share emergency messages with your emergency contacts.
The same information says your name, email address, and phone number are shared with the emergency service provider when you initiate satellite emergency text messaging. Your eSIM ID number is shared with the satellite provider to activate the eSIM. Google Messages Help: Understanding Google Messages Data Safety
