When do Worlds 2026 Pick’Ems open and lock?
Riot’s Worlds 2026 Primer, published October 5, 2026, sets out three stage-based prediction windows. Picks for each tournament phase lock before its first match; the primer does not give a universal clock time for those locks. Check the live Pick’Ems interface for the exact cutoff.

All dates and the opening time above are from Riot’s Worlds 2026 Primer. Only the Crystal Ball and Play-In opening has a stated clock time. For the stage locks, use the live interface rather than assuming a particular hour.

- Open the LoL Esports Pick’Ems page at lolesports.com or use the League of Legends client.
- Sign in with a valid Riot Account and make sure you have a Summoner Name. Riot says both are required to play and receive rewards.
- Submit predictions during each available window, before its stage locks. Confirm the current questions and cutoff in the live interface.
Riot’s primer does not say that a purchase is required to participate.

What are the 2026 Pick’Ems rules and rewards?
Riot says Pick’Ems and Crystal Ball return with “familiar ways to play” and “all brand new rewards.” The primer does not publish the 2026 scoring mechanics, the full set of prediction questions, or a complete list of reward tiers. Those details should not be inferred from earlier Worlds Pick’Ems formats; check the live Pick’Ems page or client for what is actually offered this year.
Crystal Ball is a separate prediction set that opens with Play-In picks and is scored after Worlds concludes. Riot’s primer does not state its scoring weights or list its prediction options.

Who can participate?
Riot says Pick’Ems is available in all regions except Cuba, North Korea, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Myanmar, regions where League is published by a local publisher (China is given as an example), and any other region where the offer is void. A valid Riot Account and Summoner Name are required. Prize and reward eligibility can also vary by region because of local regulations. Consult the official primer and applicable local rules if you are unsure whether you can receive a reward.
When are scores finalized and rewards distributed?
Worlds concludes on November 14, when Pick’Ems scores finalize. Riot targets reward distribution within 48 hours and says performance-based tier rewards are delivered on or around November 14. If you believe you qualified but have not received credit by November 21, Riot directs you to Player Support.

What has Riot not confirmed in the primer?
- The 2026 scoring rules and weights.
- The exact prediction slate for each stage and Crystal Ball.
- A complete list of reward tiers and specific reward items.
- Exact clock times for the Play-In, Swiss, and Knockout lock deadlines.
For those details, rely on the live Pick’Ems interface as the relevant windows open; the primer establishes dates and broad availability, but does not fill in those specifics.
