VICE attributes to Rockstar Games a count of more than 170 animal species, including over 60 types of birds and more than 30 land mammals. These are reported figures, not an independently audited count.
Named examples include manatees, flamingos, pelicans, alligators, sharks, whales, rays, turtles and jellyfish. The roundup also describes differentiated animal movement and fur that can become wet, dirty, matted or clumped.
