Before moving away from Event Tickets Plus, inventory more than WooCommerce orders. The integration represents each ticket type as a WooCommerce product, each issued ticket as a separate attendee record, and links those records to products, orders, order items, and events. Custom attendee questions have both configured field definitions and submitted answers to account for.
How Event Tickets Plus represents a ticket purchase
A WooCommerce ticket is a product associated with an event. When tickets are issued, Event Tickets Plus creates attendee records separately from the product and records relationships among the attendee, ticket product, order, order item, and event. That means a product export or order export by itself may not represent the full ticket data set.

The documented model is useful for planning an inventory, but it does not establish that a particular replacement system imports these records or relationships. Treat the categories below as items to map and reconcile against the destination.
Which records and settings to inventory

Inventory attendee questions in two layers
Do not treat attendee information as a single list of field labels. There are two related but distinct data layers:

- Field schema: the ticket’s configured questions and their properties, such as type, slug, required status, and display order.
- Submitted values: the answers captured for a purchase and associated with the relevant attendee record.
Mapping only the answers can leave the destination without equivalent questions or stable field identifiers. Mapping only the question setup can leave attendee records without their responses. For orders containing several tickets, verify that each answer is associated with the correct attendee rather than merely present somewhere on the order.
Separate ticket configuration, attendee identity, and purchase history
These categories serve different purposes and should not be collapsed into one export:

- Attendee records describe the people or ticket instances issued, along with their event and ticket relationships and associated metadata.
- Order history describes the WooCommerce transaction and its items, while also potentially carrying attendee-question metadata.
Keeping these distinctions makes reconciliation more meaningful: a product count, order count, and attendee count are different measures, and a change in one does not by itself explain the others.
Account for ticket moves during reconciliation
Some records may arise from administrative ticket movement rather than a new paid purchase. The documented move operation creates a zero-total child order, carries selected customer and address details plus ticket metadata, adds explanatory notes to the original and new orders, and synchronizes event capacity. Include those records in the inventory, but classify them separately from original purchase transactions when checking revenue and attendance.

Build a destination mapping checklist
Before switching systems, compare the source inventory with the target’s data model and verify each relationship on a staging copy:
- Confirm that each ticket product remains associated with the correct event and maps to the intended destination ticket type.
- Check that attendee records retain the intended links to the event, ticket, order, and order item.
- Map question definitions—including slugs and field types—and verify that each attendee’s submitted answers are retained.
- Identify moved-ticket child orders and distinguish them from original purchase transactions.
- Compare ticket price, stock or capacity settings, SKU, and sale dates with the destination’s corresponding fields.
- Verify that the destination’s event-capacity behavior meets the organizer’s needs, then reconcile record counts and representative relationships against the source.
The Events Calendar’s developer documentation describes this source model; it does not guarantee that another ticketing platform will import every field or relationship.
