The Euromaid I3B60 is a 60 cm, three-zone induction cooktop whose fit depends on more than the benchtop opening: you also need induction-compatible pans and an electrical setup suitable for its hardwired connection. Its manual specifies a 560 × 490 mm cutout and 7,200 W installed power. CHOICE labels the model discontinued, although Andoo still lists it as available to order; check current stock and price before deciding.
What the Euromaid I3B60 offers
The I3B60 is an electric induction cooktop with a ceramic-glass surface, black finish, stainless-steel frame and touch controls. Andoo lists a two-year manufacturer warranty. The zone layout is one large zone on the right, a simmer zone at the left rear and a medium zone at the left front, according to CHOICE.

The manual describes nine heat levels, zone-specific boost, a timer, pause, child lock and residual-heat indicators. Andoo also lists pan sensors and slide-touch controls. These are documented functions, not evidence of comparative performance or tested safety outcomes.

Boost and timer
According to the manual, boost returns to the previous setting after five minutes. Using boost may limit the paired zone while it is active. The timer can serve as a minute minder or switch a cooking zone off.
Touch controls
The manual says the controls respond to touch without pressure and recommends using the pad of a finger. A thin film of water can make them difficult to operate.
Will your cookware work?
Induction heats compatible magnetic cookware, so check each pan rather than assuming all stainless-steel cookware will work. The I3B60 manual’s test is straightforward: “Move a magnet towards the base of the pan. If it is attracted, the pan is suitable for induction.” The manual recommends flat, smooth bases, centred on a suitably sized zone.

- Induction stoves rely on cookware to heat, so it’s essential to choose magnetic bottom cookware with a minimum diameter of 5 inches. Auto-pan detection will shut off automatically after 60 seconds if no cookware, or the incorrect cookware is detected
- Although induction itself is a noiseless process, there may be high pitched sounds from the cookware due to multiple layers of metals sandwiched together. Please allow the induction cooker to cool down before cleaning
- Cast iron, mild steel and many—but not all—stainless-steel pans have a ferrous base and may work; confirm with a magnet.
- Pure stainless steel, aluminium or copper without a magnetic base, along with glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic and earthenware, are listed as unsuitable in the manual.
- Pans with a base under 140 mm may not be detected.
- Lift pans instead of sliding them across the glass to reduce the risk of scratching.
YourHome’s general induction guidance also recommends matching pan size to the cooking zone. That is general advice, not a specific usability test of this model.
Will it fit your benchtop?
The I3B60 manual gives product dimensions of 590 × 520 × 60 mm and a nominal building-in opening of 560 × 490 mm. Andoo lists the product height as 55 mm, so the sources differ on height. Use the installation documentation supplied with the actual unit and verify the site dimensions before cutting or modifying a benchtop.
The manual also specifies a work surface at least 30 mm thick, made of heat-resistant material, and says not to block the air inlets or outlets. Its installation diagram shows a minimum safety distance of 760 mm to the cupboard above the hotplate. Check the complete installation instructions for the required clearances and ventilation conditions; the cutout dimensions alone are not a complete fit check.

Electrical requirements and installation
Andoo identifies the connection as hardwired, says installation must be done by a qualified electrician and lists a maximum current rating of 30 A. YourHome advises checking electrical capacity and installation clearances before buying; induction may require a dedicated circuit and adequate switchboard capacity, depending on the home.

No hands-on performance conclusion can be drawn from the published specifications.
Who should consider the I3B60?
It may suit a household seeking a three-zone, 60 cm induction cooktop if its pans pass the magnet test, the opening and clearances match the installation documentation, and an electrician confirms the home’s supply can support it. Its suitability is less certain if you need independently verified performance comparisons or guaranteed current availability: the public CHOICE material does not expose the test results, and retailer stock and pricing need to be checked.
