The Euromaid ECCK64 is a 60 cm, four-zone ceramic cooktop with knob controls and a manufacturer-listed cut-out of 560 × 490 mm. Its specifications make it possible to check the main fit and electrical questions before buying, but they do not establish how it performs in independent testing: CHOICE lists the model as tested, while its performance and reliability results are restricted to members.
What is the Euromaid ECCK64?
Euromaid describes the ECCK64 as a ceramic cooktop with Schott ceramic glass, four cooking zones, knob controls, nine power levels, an on/off key, a hot-surface indicator and automatic safety switch-off. What size are the ECCK64 cooking zones?
The two larger zones are each 200 mm in diameter and rated at 1.8 kW. The two smaller zones are each 165 mm and rated at 1.2 kW, according to Euromaid’s specification sheet.

Will the Euromaid ECCK64 fit my existing cut-out?
The manufacturer lists overall product dimensions of 590 × 520 × 50 mm and a bench cut-out of 560 × 490 mm. CHOICE lists the same model at 59 × 52 cm, with installation dimensions of 56 × 49 cm.

Measure the existing bench opening and compare it with the current product drawing before purchase. Euromaid’s specification sheet cautions that the actual product should be used to derive cut-out sizes, so treat the listed dimensions as a starting point rather than a substitute for checking the drawing and required clearances.
What are the ECCK64’s installation requirements?
The manual calls for adequate ventilation and installation by a suitably qualified person in accordance with applicable local requirements. Because the cooktop is listed at 6.0 kW installed power, ask the installer to check whether the electrical supply and installation are suitable. Do not rely on the product dimensions alone to establish that the appliance will fit safely.

Does the ECCK64 have knob controls, and what is it like to use?
Yes. Euromaid specifies knob controls and nine power levels, along with an on/off key, hot-surface indicator and automatic safety switch-off. The manual contains operating instructions; use it for the correct controls and safety practices for this model.

Is the Euromaid ECCK64 easy to clean?
The ECCK64 has a ceramic-glass surface, and Euromaid’s manual provides care guidance. Follow those instructions and use products suitable for ceramic cooktops. The available owner comments include reports of glass marking and a spill-related complaint on ProductReview.com.au, but individual reports do not show how common an issue is or establish its cause. They also do not support calling the glass scratch-proof.
