Neither Eufy nor Roborock is a clear winner for every home: the right choice depends on the exact model, the floors you need cleaned, and whether you value pickup or a more hands-off dock. In RTINGS’ August 3, 2026 comparison of the Eufy Auto-Empty C10 and Roborock Q7 M5, the Q7 M5 cleaned better across hard floors, carpet, and pet hair. But the C10 includes a self-emptying dock, while the base Q7 M5 does not. Those results apply to these models—not every vacuum either brand sells.
What the direct comparison tells you
The most relevant head-to-head evidence here is RTINGS’ comparison of two budget models: the Eufy Auto-Empty C10 and Roborock Q7 M5. RTINGS found the Q7 M5 picked up more debris on hard floors and carpet and was substantially better at lifting pet hair from carpets. The C10’s key convenience advantage in this matchup is its included self-emptying dock.

This is a model comparison, not a brand-wide verdict. Eufy and Roborock sell multiple robot vacuums, and features, station bundles, and cleaning performance vary by model and market. Don’t assume that a result for these two budget models settles a choice between current premium or regional variants.

Which is better for pet hair and carpet?
For the two tested models, the Roborock Q7 M5 is the better-supported choice if carpet pickup or pet hair is the priority. RTINGS reports better pickup on both hard floors and carpet, with a notable advantage for pet hair on carpets. Treat that as evidence about the Q7 M5 versus the C10, not a guarantee that any Roborock will outperform any Eufy.
#1 Best Overall

- 【5200Pa Powerful Suction】A 3-point cleaning system coupled with strong suction ensures your floors are free from all dirt, dust, and crumbs for a thorough, superior clean. The highly passable compact design combined with 3-level suction facilitates cleaning in hard-to-reach areas where you can't, making it suitable for a wide range of surfaces from wood, and hard floors to low pile carpets.
- 【Smarter High Automation & Self-Recharge】 The robot aspiradora is equipped with an advanced high-coverage sensing system and multiple algorithmic data points, enabling autonomous completion of cleaning tasks—from scheduled starting, detecting obstacles, adjusting direction, and switching modes, to automatically returning to recharge. This hassle-free operation ensures a clean home when you return.
- 【Engineered for Pet Owner】 The exclusive no-entanglement design negates the need for your dirty hands to clean up tangled dog or cat hair, unlike traditional roller brushes. Its dual rotating electric side brushes sweep and collect hidden pet hair more efficiently throughout the house, saving you the hassle.
For another model, look for independent results for that exact vacuum and the relevant floor type. Suction figures are specifications, not substitutes for pickup tests: for example, Eufy lists 8,000 Pa suction for the X10 Pro Omni, but that manufacturer figure does not establish how it compares in cleaning performance with a Roborock.
Do you need a self-emptying dock?
If you want the robot to empty its own dustbin, compare the exact package name and included station—not just the vacuum’s model family. In RTINGS’ comparison, the Eufy Auto-Empty C10 includes a self-emptying dock; the base Roborock Q7 M5 does not. The Q7 M5+ variant includes one. A suffix or bundle difference can therefore change the convenience trade-off.
A self-emptying station can reduce how often you need to empty the robot’s bin, but it does not make the entire machine maintenance-free. Check what the particular station handles and what routine upkeep remains before treating a bundle as fully hands-off.

Is the mop good enough for stains?
The Eufy Auto-Empty C10 does not mop. The Roborock Q7 M5 does, but RTINGS describes its stain removal as not particularly thorough. If your main goal is removing dried or stubborn marks, the presence of a mop alone is not evidence that the robot can do that job well.
Mopping designs differ across product lines. TechRadar’s September 2026 review of the Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro describes detachable mop plates as a way to help keep carpets dry and reports positive tested mopping for that model. That is a feature of the Qrevo 2 Pro, not a characteristic to assume across all Roborock vacuums. For mixed flooring, check the exact model’s carpet detection and whether its mop lifts or detaches.
How much clutter is on your floors?
Obstacle handling is a weakness to take seriously in the C10/Q7 M5 matchup. RTINGS reports poor obstacle handling for both tested units, particularly frequent difficulty for the C10 with undetected furniture and obstacles. If cords, small objects, or pet messes are often left on the floor, check independent tests of those specific hazards for the model you are considering and be prepared to tidy the robot’s route.

Compare the exact models, not just the brands
| What matters at home | What to check | Evidence from the compared models |
|---|---|---|
| Carpet and pet hair | Independent pickup tests on the relevant floor and carpet type. | RTINGS found the Q7 M5 ahead of the C10 on hard floors and carpet, especially for pet hair on carpet. |
| Unattended dust emptying | Confirm the included dock and exact product suffix. | The C10 includes self-emptying; the base Q7 M5 does not; the Q7 M5+ does. |
| Mopping | Check whether the model mops and how it performs on stains. | The C10 does not mop; the Q7 M5 mops, but RTINGS found its stain removal limited. |
| Clutter and obstacle avoidance | Look for tests involving furniture, cords, small objects, and pet-waste avoidance. | RTINGS found weaknesses in both tested models, especially the C10. |
| Mixed floors and carpet protection | Check the specific model’s carpet detection and mop-lift or mop-detachment design. | TechRadar describes detachable mop plates on the Qrevo 2 Pro; this does not establish the same feature for other models. |
| Price and availability | Compare current local prices and the full bundle being sold. | No stable price recommendation is established here; prices and availability can change. |
What newer models do—and don’t—change
Newer product examples show why the C10/Q7 M5 result should not be treated as a current brand ranking. Eufy’s U.S. catalog lists the X10 Pro Omni with manufacturer-stated 8,000 Pa suction, MopMaster 2.0, an all-in-one station, an auto-detangling roller brush, and iPath laser navigation. These are listed features and a suction specification, not independent proof that the X10 cleans better than a particular Roborock.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →In a 2026 review, Ideal Home says the Eufy E35 Omni and Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 Flow offer 35,000 Pa suction, while also reporting that the E35 disappointed in some respects. The shared figure should not be read as evidence of equivalent pickup: suction specifications alone do not settle cleaning performance.
A practical way to choose
- Set your main priority. Decide whether better-supported pickup in the C10/Q7 M5 comparison or the C10’s built-in self-emptying dock matters more to your household.
- Match the floor-care features to your home. If you need mopping, the C10 is not an option; if you need stain removal, look beyond the Q7 M5’s mop presence and check exact-model test results.
- Check your home’s likely failure points. For carpet, cords, small objects, or pet messes, seek tests of the precise model and the specific conditions you care about.
- Verify the product listing before buying. Confirm the full model name, suffix, region, and included dock or mop hardware; then compare current local price and availability.
No broad warranty or long-term reliability comparison is established here, so those are separate questions to verify for your market and exact model.
