The Epson WorkForce WF-2960DWF is a UK/European four-function inkjet for home offices and small offices: it prints, scans, copies and faxes, with a 30-page automatic document feeder (ADF), automatic double-sided printing and Wi-Fi. Epson’s published specifications make it look well equipped for routine paperwork, but they are not independent tests of speed, print quality, reliability or running cost. The regional model uses Epson 503 Chillies ink; do not confuse it with the US WF-2960, which takes a different cartridge family.
What the WF-2960DWF offers
Epson positions the WF-2960DWF as a compact home- and small-office printer. Its four functions cover common document workflows: print, scan, copy and fax. A 30-page ADF lets you feed a stack of pages for multi-page copying or scanning rather than placing each sheet on the scanner glass. Epson does not establish duplex scanning in the cited product information, so do not assume the ADF scans both sides automatically.

For paper output, the printer has a 150-sheet front-loading tray and automatic two-sided printing. Those features suit everyday documents and reduce the need to reload paper frequently, though the tray capacity and duplex feature alone do not show how quickly it will handle a particular workload.
How fast does it print?
Epson lists ISO/IEC 24734 speeds of up to 14 pages per minute in monochrome and 7.5 pages per minute in colour. Its listed automatic duplex speeds are 6.5 A4 pages per minute in monochrome and 4.5 in colour. These are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured results; actual output can vary with the document, settings and operating conditions. Epson also notes that product features and specifications may change without notice.

Connectivity and mobile printing
The UK product page lists Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct, along with Epson Smart Panel, Epson Connect and Apple AirPrint support. Wi-Fi connects the printer to a local wireless network; Wi-Fi Direct provides a direct wireless connection without relying on a router. Epson’s Europe support site has a connection guide for screen-equipped printers if setup needs troubleshooting.
Which ink cartridges should you use?
For the UK/European WF-2960DWF, Epson identifies four-colour 503 Chillies ink, available in standard and XL cartridge options. Match the full model name and your region when buying supplies. Cartridge prices, page yields and print coverage assumptions are needed for a meaningful cost-per-page estimate; the cited product information does not establish a current local cost per page.

The suffix matters: Epson’s US materials refer to a related model named WF-2960 and list 222/222XL cartridges. Those US cartridge codes and yields are not the DWF’s consumables information. Likewise, US documentation about third-party cartridge compatibility and firmware updates should not be treated as a warranty or compatibility statement for the European DWF. Check Epson’s local terms and support information for your unit.

The combination of an ADF, fax, automatic duplex printing, wireless connectivity and a 150-sheet tray makes the WF-2960DWF a plausible fit for a home office or small office handling mixed, mostly document-based tasks. The available specifications do not establish photo-print quality or suitability for sustained high-volume production. If those are priorities, look for independent testing or more specific workload and print-quality evidence before choosing.

Price, stock and any ReadyPrint Flex offer can change. Epson’s UK page showed the DWF out of stock when accessed, so check current availability and subscription eligibility directly before buying. Do not treat a displayed promotion or plan term as a lasting price or guaranteed offer.
