The Electrolux SilentPerformer ESP7GREENT is an Australian-market bagged canister vacuum with variable power, a Dust Magnet Silent floorhead and a manufacturer-advertised 12 m reach. Those are useful ownership features, but they are not the whole story: Electrolux’s figures differ from CHOICE’s measured reach and weight, CHOICE marks the exact model discontinued, and its detailed performance results are not public. Treat “Silent” as product positioning, not proof of a particular noise level.
What is the ESP7GREENT?
It is a mains-powered, bagged canister vacuum. Electrolux’s Australian product page uses the model name ESP7GREEN, while its fact sheet and CHOICE listing identify ESP7GREENT. Because suffixes and product numbers can matter for compatibility, check the rating plate and product number (PNC) on your machine before ordering bags, filters or other parts.

Electrolux specifies 220–240 V, maximum power of 700 W and nominal power of 550 W for the ESP7GREENT. Its fact sheet also lists a 3.5 L dustbag, variable power control, automatic cord winder, mechanical full-bag indicator and thermal cut-out. The stated dimensions are 293 × 441 × 238 mm. Electrolux Australia’s product page describes the ESP7GREEN as a 700 W cleaner with variable power and a two-year warranty.

How does advertised reach and weight compare with measured figures?
Electrolux specifies a 12 m cleaning reach and a cleaner-only weight of 4.5 kg. CHOICE reports 8.9 m of measured reach from the power point and a weight of 6.02 kg for its listed ESP7GREENT. These figures are not interchangeable: the first pair is the manufacturer’s specification, while the second pair is CHOICE’s reported measurements. The available listing does not explain all measurement conditions, so use them as distinct reference points rather than assuming your experience will match either exactly.

How quiet is the SilentPerformer?
Electrolux attributes the quiet-focused positioning to its Silence Pro System and Dust Magnet Silent nozzle. The company says the noise-minimising motor and nozzle are intended to make cleaning quieter. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independently reported sound measurement. The publicly available exact-model listing does not provide a noise level in decibels, so the “Silent” name alone cannot establish how it will sound in a particular home.

Electrolux also says the washable high-efficiency hygiene filter captures up to 99.5% of dust. This is the company’s product-page claim; it should not be treated as an independent filtration test result.

Electrolux’s ESP7GREENT fact sheet specifies E201S bags, also identified as s-bag, with a 3.5 L bag size. It lists a GSK1 motor filter and EFH12W exhaust filter. Confirm the exact model and PNC against the appliance before purchase, particularly because Electrolux’s product page uses ESP7GREEN without the final T.

Electrolux’s parts site lists compatible components and provides a model/PNC selector. Check current fit and stock there before ordering: Electrolux Australia parts. An Electrolux motor-filter listing identifies ESP7GREEN among compatible models, but that alone does not verify fit for every ESP7GREENT product number.
What floorhead and accessories are included?
The fact sheet lists a Dust Magnet Silent main nozzle, telescopic tube, classic bent end, crevice tool and upholstery nozzle. It lists neither a motorised power nozzle nor a turbo nozzle. That distinction matters if you need a powered brush roll for carpet or hair pickup: the supplied specification does not show one. It does not, by itself, prove how well the vacuum cleans particular flooring or handles pet hair.

Is the ESP7GREENT discontinued, and what do independent results show?
CHOICE labels its exact ESP7GREENT listing discontinued. Its public page reports 663 W measured power, 2.7 L measured dust volume, 8.9 m measured reach and 6.02 kg weight, and lists China as the country of origin and a two-year warranty. The same page shows $299, but because the model is marked discontinued, treat that as historical listing context rather than a current Australian price or availability guide.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsCHOICE’s expert rating and detailed cleaning, noise, reliability and satisfaction results are member-only on the listing. There is therefore no public basis here for assigning the ESP7GREENT a cleaning score, declaring its reliability, or asserting a measured noise level. Electrolux’s product page currently displays one customer review, too small a sample to establish broad buyer consensus.

Is its recycled-plastic claim independently verified?
Electrolux says the ESP7GREEN is made with 60% recycled plastic and frames this as reducing oil, water and energy used in plastic production. That is the manufacturer’s materials claim; the available information does not establish an independent lifecycle assessment or verify the broader environmental impact.
Who should consider this vacuum?
The ESP7GREENT’s strongest practical case is for someone who wants a bagged canister, adjustable suction, a long stated reach and specified replacement consumables. Its bag-and-filter references make routine parts identification relatively concrete. It is a less clear fit for shoppers who require a powered carpet head, depend on a published independent noise result, or want a model with confirmed current availability. Check local stock, warranty terms and PNC compatibility before buying or sourcing parts.
