Retrieve information by search or conversation
In addition to searching notes, users can ask a chatbot questions about their personal information. The submission says this assistant uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), a method that retrieves relevant material from a collection of documents to inform a generated response. It also describes voice questions and spoken AI responses. The project page does not provide independent tests of answer accuracy or explain how the system handles missing or conflicting notes.

Why the author built it—and what that does not prove
The author frames the project around a college friend who has difficulty remembering everyday things. The submission also uses the word “amnesia,” but supplies no clinical details. That account explains the motivation; it is not evidence of a diagnosis, a treatment, or suitability for people with memory-related conditions. No measured improvement or clinical evaluation is reported.
