What kind of oven is the E777?
The E777 is an 11-litre, lid-style halogen benchtop oven. Unlike an appliance with preset programs, the manual describes manual temperature control and a one-hour timer: you set both dials, and the oven starts automatically. The manual says the heating element glows brightly while heating and the thermostat cycles on and off during normal operation.

CHOICE lists claimed power of 1300W and claimed capacity of 11L. Its product record displays a price of $179, but that is a figure in the record—not a verified current offer. CHOICE marks the model discontinued. The record’s publication or update date is not stated.

The sources disagree on the lower temperature limit. The EasyCook E777/E797 manual specifies 60–230°C, while CHOICE lists 100–230°C. Both give the same upper limit; the discrepancy means buyers should not assume a particular minimum setting without checking the dial or manual supplied with their unit.

The manual also specifies a 1300W halogen element, an 11L bowl, a 280mm bowl diameter, a 130mm bowl height, a one-hour timer, manual controls, a safety switch and a fixed handle. It lists the oven’s weight as 8.5kg. CHOICE’s record instead gives 6.1kg and dimensions of 32 x 35 x 43cm. The manual says specifications are approximate and may change without notice, so these figures should be treated as source-specific rather than reconciled into one definitive specification.
What accessories come with it?
The manual’s standard accessory list comprises:
- A dual-use rack, for positioning food at different heights.
- A baking tray.
- A rotisserie, for chicken and other solid meats up to the manual’s stated maximum food weight of 1.2kg.
- An air-fry barrel, with examples including chips, chicken nuggets, roasted nuts and popcorn.
- Tongs.
CHOICE uses different names for some included parts, listing a grilling rack, air-fry basket, rotisserie and pizza tray. Because the lists do not match exactly, do not assume every E777 sold has the same accessory set. Ask the seller to identify and show the parts included with that particular unit.

How do you use the E777?
- Open the lid and place food on the rack. The manual recommends using the wire rack to allow air circulation, leaving at least half an inch between the food and the bowl wall, and not stacking food.
- Close the lid by releasing its lock.
- Set the temperature and time with the control dials. The manual says the oven begins operating once both are set and switches off when the selected time expires.
- When cooking is finished, lift the lid to help limit condensation build-up, as the manual advises.
The manual says preheating is not necessary for most cooking, though it recommends it for grilling. For that use, it suggests an optional five-minute preheat at 230°C. It describes the upper rack position for grilling or toasting and the lower position for roasting or baking.

How to treat the cooking chart
The manual presents cooking times as general guidance, not guaranteed results. It says cooking varies with food volume, weight, mass and local conditions; it also notes that times may be shorter than in traditional recipes without quantifying a consistent difference. When learning to cook meat in the oven, the manual recommends checking doneness with a meat thermometer. These are manufacturer instructions, not independently verified results.

The manual says: “Anything you can cook in your traditional oven and grill, you can cook in the Easy Cook.” That is the manufacturer’s broad-use claim, not an independent assessment of how well the E777 cooks particular foods.
How do you clean the bowl and fan guard?
- Unplug the oven and let it cool before cleaning.
- Clean the bowl with a non-abrasive scourer or brush and mild detergent.
- To clean the fan guard, the manual says it can be removed with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
- Keep the lid out of water: the manual says never to immerse it or wet the fan assembly.
CHOICE says dishwasher safety is not specified. Do not assume that the bowl, lid or accessories are dishwasher-safe; check the instructions for the particular unit and parts.

CHOICE has an E777 product record, but its Expert Rating, performance score, ease-of-use score and food-specific results are member-only in the surfaced material. No accessible score or independent numerical performance result establishes whether the oven performed well or poorly. The existence of a CHOICE listing should not be read as a recommendation.

CHOICE’s comparison page describes testing dimensions for benchtop ovens, but the E777’s locked results cannot support a meaningful score-based comparison. For a purchase decision, compare currently available models using the details that matter to you: capacity and counter space, control type and timer, included accessories, cleaning instructions, published performance evidence, warranty and support, and today’s price. The E777’s listed historical price is not a reliable current-market comparison.

Can you buy the E777 or replacement parts now?
CHOICE identifies the E777 as discontinued. That does not establish whether any particular retailer still has new or used stock, and the record’s $179 price should not be treated as current availability. If you find a unit, verify its condition, exact model, included parts, return policy and the seller’s warranty before paying.
The manual states a 12-month warranty, requires proof of purchase, and directs owners to contact their EasyCook distributor for repair or replacement. CHOICE also lists a one-year warranty. Those statements do not establish current coverage for a second-hand or remaining-stock purchase, or whether E777 service and spare parts are still available. Ask the seller what warranty applies to the item being sold and contact EasyCook about support before relying on it.
EasyCook’s current accessories pages list parts for 11L ovens, but the surfaced air-fry insert listing says it suits models 717, 727 and 757—not E777. The pages do not establish that the insert or other current 11L parts fit the E777. Equal bowl capacity alone is not proof of compatibility. Confirm the exact model and part fit directly with EasyCook before ordering.
