Warranty: distinguish the vacuum from the replacement part
Dyson says its two-year warranty for cordless machines includes the battery and that a battery is replaced free when the machine remains within warranty terms. Separately, the V8 parts page lists a one-year warranty for parts and accessories. Those are different coverage contexts.
