Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesTo duplicate a WordPress page, install and activate Yoast Duplicate Post, then open Pages and choose Clone or New Draft beneath the page title. Clone creates a copy and returns you to the page list; New Draft opens an editable copy. The current sources verified this plugin workflow, but not exact manual editor steps, so this guide does not present an unverified second method as fact.
Duplicate a page with Yoast Duplicate Post
- In WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for Duplicate Post, and install and activate Yoast Duplicate Post. The WordPress.org listing provides the plugin and its installation details.
- Open Pages and locate the page you want to copy. Choose Clone beneath its title to create a copy and return to the list, or choose New Draft to open an editable copy. Depending on where you are working, Copy to a new draft may also be available from the editor or admin bar. The available controls are documented by WordPress.org and Yoast.
- Review the copy’s title, content, and page-specific settings. Make your edits in the draft, then publish it when it is ready.
For multiple pages, select their rows in the Pages list and choose Clone from Bulk Actions. Copy behavior and which user roles can use the feature are configurable; see Yoast’s feature information.

What the verified method does—and what remains uncertain
Yoast Duplicate Post creates a separate page copy. The sources establish its Clone, New Draft, and bulk-cloning controls, as well as configurable copy behavior. They do not provide a complete inventory of which page properties are copied in every WordPress setup. Review the draft rather than assuming that every theme, plugin, or page-builder setting transferred exactly as intended.
A manual copy-and-paste workflow may be possible in an editor, but the available current official WordPress documentation does not establish exact steps or specify which page properties such a workflow carries over. For that reason, this guide does not label manual copying as a verified quick method or claim that copying visible content also duplicates the page’s other settings.

When to use Rewrite & Republish instead
If your goal is to substantially revise an existing page while keeping its published version in place until the changes are ready, use Yoast’s Rewrite & Republish workflow rather than making a separate page. It creates a working copy and merges the finished changes back into the original, retaining the original URL, according to Yoast’s help documentation and its product description. This is an update workflow, not a way to publish a second, independent page.

Yoast announced Duplicate Post 4.6 on March 9, 2026, describing controls in the Block Editor sidebar and reliability improvements for Rewrite & Republish. Because plugin controls and compatibility can change, check the current WordPress.org listing if the labels in your admin differ.
