CHOICE lists it as discontinued, and its publicly accessible pages do not show the model’s expert rating or test results. That means the published specifications can be checked, but a performance verdict cannot.
Dry Home DH24 specifications

Is the Dry Home DH24 any good?
The available public information is not enough to call the DH24 good or poor in use. CHOICE says its dehumidifier assessments consider water removal, energy efficiency and ease of use, with testing in a temperature- and humidity-controlled chamber that includes cold, humid winter conditions. However, the DH24-specific expert rating, results and listed pros and cons are member-only in the accessible pages. The public evidence therefore supports neither a performance score nor a ranking against other models.
The 24 L/day figure is not a recommended room-size rating. CHOICE does not record a suitable room size for this model, so do not use capacity alone to decide whether it will suit a particular space.

Is the DH24 still available?
CHOICE marks the DH24 as discontinued. Its comparison page, updated 12 May 2026, displays $880 beside the model, but does not establish that this is a current transaction price. Treat it as a page figure, not a reliable indication of what the DH24 costs or whether it can still be bought. See the CHOICE dehumidifier comparison page for that listing.
The available sources do not establish whether official Dry Home support, compatible parts or accessories remain available. In particular, they do not confirm a DH24 manual, drainage-hose specification, replacement filter or spare-part source.

What to compare when choosing an alternative
If you are shopping for a current dehumidifier in the 24 L/day category, compare like with like rather than treating the DH24’s claimed capacity as proof that another model will perform identically. CHOICE’s published assessment criteria point to the useful checks:
- Water removal: Look for results measured under comparable temperature and humidity conditions; a headline capacity figure alone does not establish real-world equivalence.
- Energy use: Compare efficiency or operating cost only where the figures use a comparable basis.
- Ease of use: Check the controls, tank handling and drainage arrangements against how you plan to use the appliance.
- Room suitability: Use a stated manufacturer recommendation or test basis for your room and conditions; do not infer a suitable room size from the DH24’s 24 L/day claim.
CHOICE’s dehumidifier testing and comparison overview describes its testing approach, but does not provide public DH24-specific results. A separate product page, such as Breville Australia’s Smart Dry Plus Connect listing, is not evidence that another model is an equivalent replacement; features and availability must be assessed on their own terms.
