It is both a full-game bundle for new players and a route to the expansion for people who already own Dragon’s Dogma 2. The package includes the base game alongside the expansion; Capcom and platform listings also offer the expansion separately. So “Dark Arisen” here names a bundled edition, not an expansion-only purchase in every store.

Should you buy the bundle or the separate expansion?
Your existing library and platform matter more than the edition name. If you do not own Dragon’s Dogma 2, the bundle supplies both the base game and expansion. If you already own the base game, compare the separate expansion listing against the bundle on your platform; check that you are not paying for the base game a second time.
