That means it is not a free mode for base-game owners who do not have the expansion. No exact release day has been reported.
Is Slaughter Mode free?
Reports say the Slaughter Mode update will be free for owners of the Revelations expansion. The expansion is a separate requirement, so “free update” does not mean every owner of the base game can play it without additional content. The access details come from Insider Gaming and TrueAchievements, reporting on the Slayers Club Live announcement.

When does Slaughter Mode come out?
The reported release window is November 2026. Neither report gives a specific day, and the sources available do not establish a final launch date or a platform-by-platform rollout. Bethesda’s official game page lists Revelations as available July 7, 2026; that date is for the expansion, not Slaughter Mode.

What is Slaughter Mode?
It is described as an endless single-player challenge in which players fight escalating demon waves across multiple arenas. Reports also say players can earn cosmetics and set personal bests based on rounds or score. These descriptions come from secondary coverage of the announcement; a primary Slaughter Mode announcement page or transcript with the detailed rules has not been established.

How it fits with Revelations and earlier updates

Do not confuse Slaughter Mode with Ripatorium 3.0. Bethesda’s June 7, 2026 Slayers Club announcement described Ripatorium 3.0 as a separate free update arriving with Revelations. That earlier update does not establish Slaughter Mode’s mechanics or access terms.
