Does OnePlus TV have Chromecast? Some models do, but the feature is not confirmed for every OnePlus TV or regional variant. OnePlus’s official specifications list Chromecast built in for the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro. Check the specifications or manual for your exact model before relying on it.
Which OnePlus TVs have Chromecast built in?
The clearest official example is the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro. OnePlus India lists Google TV (Android 11) as its operating system and includes “Chromecast built-in” among its casting features, alongside NFC Cast, MultiCast 2.0, DLNA and Miracast.

Other model-specific information exists, but it is less authoritative or older. A OnePlus Community guide for the OnePlus TV U1S describes built-in Chromecast and casting from phones or Chrome on a computer. Older Community guides also report Chromecast built in for the OnePlus TV Y1 and OnePlus TV 55U1. Treat these as model-specific secondary information, not confirmation of current support across the range.
OnePlus’s reviewed official materials do not provide a complete, current compatibility list covering every model and region. For a dependable answer, look up the exact model and regional variant in its official specifications or manual; do not infer support from the OnePlus name or from another TV’s feature list.

How do I cast to my OnePlus TV?
OnePlus describes app casting and screen mirroring as separate options. Use the one that matches what you want to put on the TV.
Cast a video from a supported app
- Connect the phone and TV to the same network.
- Open a supported video-on-demand app, such as YouTube, Zee5 or Prime Video.
- On the app’s playback page, tap the “CAST” icon and choose the TV if it appears.
These are OnePlus support instructions; availability and behavior can vary with the app, phone, network and TV configuration. They do not establish that every app supports casting to every OnePlus TV.

Mirror your phone screen with Miracast
OnePlus’s support instructions also describe using the Connect app to invoke Miracast for screen sharing. This is a different method from tapping an app’s Chromecast cast control: Miracast mirrors the phone screen, while app casting starts playback through the supported app’s casting workflow. Having one method available does not prove that the other is available on a particular model.

Why can’t my phone find my OnePlus TV?
- Check the network: Confirm the TV and phone are on the same network, as OnePlus advises.
- Start from the app: For video casting, open the supported app and use its cast control on the playback page.
- Verify the model: Check the TV’s exact specifications or manual to confirm that the casting method you want is supported.
- Use model-specific help: If the TV still does not appear, consult the relevant troubleshooting guide. The network check is a first step, not a guaranteed fix for every discovery problem.
Where to find help for your model
Use OnePlus TV Product Help to locate resources such as manuals, troubleshooting guidance and software upgrades. The appropriate documentation depends on your TV model; support instructions should not be treated as a compatibility guarantee for every configuration.
