No. Reports say the 2026 film Verity has neither an extra scene during the credits nor a post-credits scene, so you can leave when the movie ends. The answer is based on a film-specific credits listing and independent entertainment coverage, not an official statement covering every territory or theatrical cut.
What to know before leaving the theater
The film-specific listing reports no bonus footage during the credits and no scene after them. Just Jared also reports that there is no post-credits scene. Neither source identifies a regional or cut-specific exception, though their reporting does not establish that every individual booking worldwide has been checked.

Which Verity this answer is about
This is the 2026 theatrical adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel, not another work with the same title. Amazon MGM Studios says the film opened in theaters worldwide on October 2, 2026. Sony Pictures UK lists it as currently in cinemas; showtimes and availability depend on location.

Sony’s synopsis follows struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson), who goes to the Crawfords’ remote estate to ghostwrite for Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway). Lowen finds what appear to be Verity’s autobiographical notes, whose disturbing claims concern Verity’s husband Jeremy (Josh Hartnett), and struggles to separate fiction from reality. Michael Showalter directed the film, and Nick Antosca wrote the screenplay.
