Yes—Ninja sells the Luxe Café Pro (ES701) as an espresso machine and describes espresso brewing through a portafilter system. It also says the machine monitors brew temperature and pressure and adjusts them for the shot. But Ninja’s US product listing does not state a numeric extraction-pressure figure, and the available product information does not independently establish café-equivalent shot performance.
Does the Ninja Luxe Café Pro make real espresso?
In the manufacturer’s terms, yes: Ninja describes the ES701 as an espresso-brewing machine, with a portafilter workflow, integrated tamping and an espresso selection. That is a grounded answer to whether it makes espresso as advertised; it is not proof that every shot will match one from a café or satisfy an independent formal espresso standard.

Ninja’s US ES701 listing says the machine monitors and adjusts pressure during brewing, but it does not give a numeric extraction-pressure specification in bars. So a specific claim such as 9 or 19 bars is not verified by that listing. The absence of a published figure does not establish what pressure the machine can produce; it means the official listing reviewed does not provide a number to cite.

Does it make crema?
Crema is the foamy layer that can form on top of espresso. Ninja support says its appearance depends on factors including bean freshness, grind, dose, water temperature and adequate pressure. It also notes that crema changes and dissipates over time, so it is not a fixed result that every coffee or setting will produce in the same way.

The most precise description is that the Ninja Luxe Café Pro ES701 is a manufacturer-marketed espresso machine with a portafilter system and several other brewing functions. Its listing supports claims about its advertised workflow and features, but it does not disclose a numeric bar pressure or independently demonstrate shot quality. Crema is possible, but Ninja’s own guidance makes clear that it depends on the coffee and brewing variables.
