Yes. The Logitech ASTRO A50 X can stay connected to an Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC or Mac, and its PLAYSYNC button switches the headset between them. The important distinction: switching between Xbox and PS5 also switches the TV picture; selecting PC switches headset audio, not PC video.
What “at the same time” means on the A50 X
All three systems can remain connected to the base station, but PLAYSYNC selects an active source rather than mixing audio from Xbox, PlayStation, and PC simultaneously. With all three active, Logitech’s manual gives the switching order as Xbox → PC → PlayStation. Press the PLAYSYNC button on the headset to move through the inputs.

The button is beneath the headset’s power switch. During a change between console inputs, the display may briefly go dark; switching can also wake a sleeping system in some cases. Logitech’s product page describes the system compatibility, while the A50 X getting-started manual explains the connection and switching behavior.

What switches: console video and audio, or PC audio
When you switch from Xbox to PS5 or back, the A50 X base station switches both the console image sent to the display and the headset audio. When you select PC, it switches the headset audio source; PLAYSYNC does not route PC video to the TV. If your PC uses a separate monitor, keep that display connected as usual.
#1 Best Overall
- PLAYSYNC Simultaneous Multi-System: Xbox + PS5 + Switch/Switch 2+ PC all at once. Stay connected to all your platforms and switch AUDIO & VIDEO between them with on-ear control
- PRO-G GRAPHENE Audio Drivers: Groundbreaking clarity and response for precise audio separation, location, and timing accuracy (40 mm diameter)
- Pro-grade LIGHTSPEED Wireless: Ultra high-performance, end-to-end technology for responsive and immersive gaming audio free from wires
- State-of-the-art HDMI 2.1 Passthru: Delivers Ultra HD resolution for the highest levels of console audio (24 bit) and visual fidelity (4K 120 Hz)
- Broadcast-quality Mic: Sound like a pro; 48 kHz full-bandwidth LIGHTSPEED mic uplink achieves new levels in wireless boom mic quality
This makes the A50 X useful when you want one headset and one display path for both consoles, while retaining a PC audio connection. It does not mean the headset can play sound from all three systems at once.
Connect the systems to the matching base-station ports
For the documented console setup, connect each console to its matching labeled HDMI and USB port pair on the base station, then connect the base station’s HDMI Out to the TV or display. The manual warns that each console’s HDMI and USB connections must be in the same labeled group for Game/Voice balance controls to work correctly.

Use the headset’s PLAYSYNC control to select a connected system. The PC connection is USB audio; it is not another HDMI video input.

No—not for the basic idea of connecting the headset and switching sources. HDMI 2.1 matters if you want the associated video capabilities through the base station. Logitech lists up to 4K at 120 Hz passthrough on its product page; this is a manufacturer specification, not an independent test result.

Logitech says HDMI cables are sold separately. Older HDMI equipment may still pass video and audio, but it will not provide every HDMI 2.1 capability.
