Passtech Games announced cross-play compatibility across the game’s versions, and later confirmed that Xbox cross-play—temporarily disabled in February 2025—was reactivated on Xbox One and Xbox Series in March 2025. As of October 13, 2026, the latest official update located is version 1.6.0, released October 12 for Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
The qualification is that the official sources do not publish a complete, current compatibility chart for every console generation, PC storefront, and platform pairing. What cross-platform co-op means in Ravenswatch

The Xbox Store describes Ravenswatch as online co-op for 2–4 players and lists Xbox cross-platform co-op and multiplayer capabilities. The 2–4 figure is the store’s stated online co-op range; it is not a measured player-count statistic, and it should not be read as a separate guarantee about every cross-platform lobby configuration.

Why older reports say Xbox cross-play was disabled
Xbox cross-play was temporarily suspended, but that was a historical service issue rather than the current status described by the official patch history. On February 26, 2025, Passtech said a cross-platform communication issue could occur in larger lobbies involving an Xbox player or after consecutive runs from the same lobby. The developer temporarily disabled Xbox cross-play while preparing a fix.
Passtech’s March 5, 2025 patch note, titled “Ravenswatch Patch Note (Lobbies and Crossplay) – Version 1.1.04,” says Xbox cross-play was reactivated for Xbox One and Xbox Series. Older posts that describe the restriction reflect that temporary period; they should not be used as evidence that Xbox cross-play remains disabled.

How to prepare before joining friends on another platform
The most useful first step is to bring the game up to date on every player’s device.
