An old profile may still be there, but Myspace does not guarantee that every inactive account or its content survived. The company says it may delete profiles or content after more than two years of inactivity, and some older photos, media and messages are no longer retrievable.
Does Myspace still exist?
Yes. Myspace’s Help Center login section covers signing in and activating classic profiles, and its account recovery page provides an account-recovery route. Myspace’s Help Center says, “Your Myspace profile from the Classic site is still here.” That is a general statement that classic profiles may be accessible—not a guarantee that a particular profile or everything it contained remains available.

Does Myspace still have old profiles?
Some old profiles may still be present, but you have to search for a specific account to find out. Myspace’s terms change summary says the service may delete profiles or content after more than two years of inactivity. It also says Myspace may retain an account at its discretion if someone wants to reactivate it. So an account’s age alone does not establish whether it is still available.
How do I find and log into my old Myspace account?
- Search for the account. Try the old email address or your full name on Myspace. If you had more than one account, check for each one. Myspace says to submit its Help Center form if you find an account but cannot identify the login details; see Where Are My Photos? for the account-search guidance.
- Try your username if you have forgotten the email address. Myspace says a username can be used to log in, but you still need the password. Its Forgot Email instructions explain this option.
- Reset the password. Request a reset using the username or email address and check likely old inboxes, including spam. Myspace does not disclose which email address is linked to a profile, so you may need to try the addresses you used at the time. The recovery page is the official starting point.
- If you cannot access the old inbox, try to recover it with the email provider. Myspace recommends regaining access to that mailbox first, then using the password-reset flow. If the mailbox was deleted, use Myspace’s form and provide the old email address or the profile URL or username so it can try to locate the account. This is a request for help, not a promise of recovery; see Myspace’s Email Address guidance.
Can I get my old Myspace photos or messages back?
It depends on the content, and getting into an account cannot restore material Myspace no longer has or makes available.

Photos
If photos seem to be missing, Myspace advises checking whether they are under another account. If an album or photo shows a placeholder but the image does not load, Myspace says the image is no longer on its servers and it cannot retrieve it. Its photo help page explains these cases.
Older media and classic content
Myspace’s terms change summary says certain Myspace Classic content is no longer available for retrieval or download, and that media files and images uploaded more than three years ago are no longer available for playing, retrieval or download. The summary associates this notice with a terms update; it does not establish that every old file has the same status. Check the specific content rather than assuming it survived—or that a profile’s presence means its media is intact.

Private messages
Myspace says private messages sent before June 2013 are no longer available and cannot be retrieved. See Where Are My Old Messages?
What happens to copies of deleted content?
Myspace’s privacy policy notes that copies of information may remain visible elsewhere after an account or content is deleted—for example, if another user copied or shared it. A copy elsewhere is not the original file in your Myspace account, and its existence does not mean Myspace can restore the original.
