Not on its own. Samsung’s specifications for the Galaxy A04e (SM-A042F series) list a USB Type-C port but do not list built-in wireless charging. A USB-C Qi receiver adapter may offer a workaround, but Samsung does not confirm compatibility with any receiver for this phone. You will need both a receiver and a Qi charging pad, and the fit and performance depend on the specific accessories.
Can I use a wireless charger with my Galaxy A04e?
Placing the Galaxy A04e directly on a Qi charging pad should not be expected to charge it: Samsung does not list native wireless charging for the model. Its specifications list USB Type-C as the USB interface and USB 2.0 as the USB version. Samsung’s Galaxy A04e specifications do not identify the phone as Qi-ready or document an add-on receiver.

A USB-C Qi receiver is a separate accessory that plugs into the phone’s port and sits against its back. It can provide a possible route for receiving power from a compatible Qi pad, but the USB-C connection alone does not establish that a particular receiver will work reliably with the A04e.

What to check before buying a USB-C receiver
- Connector: Choose a receiver made for USB-C phones, and check that its plug can reach and sit correctly in the A04e’s port.
- Fit with your case: Check the receiver’s thickness and placement, and make sure the case can close without bending or pressing on the receiver. Confirm that the receiver and case arrangement can sit properly on the pad.
- Pad requirements: A Qi receiver needs a compatible Qi charging pad; a pad by itself is not the enabling accessory for this phone.
- Product-specific limits: Check the maker’s stated compatibility, input requirements, and power limits for the receiver and pad combination you intend to use. Samsung publishes no A04e-specific receiver speed, heat, reliability, or case-fit measurements.
- Return terms: Because compatibility is not confirmed for this model, check the seller’s return policy before purchase.
What Samsung’s specifications do—and do not—confirm
Samsung lists the A04e’s battery as 5,000 mAh typical capacity and 4,900 mAh rated capacity. The typical figure is estimated under IEC 61960 laboratory procedures. These are battery-capacity figures, not wireless-charging specifications, and they do not establish how quickly an adapter would charge the phone.
