No. In the 2026 GTA Online Ghosts Exposed hunt, you can collect the first nine photos over multiple in-game nights. The tenth ghost is different: it appears from 00:00 to 01:00 in-game only after the other nine photos have been accepted. If you miss that window before meeting the requirement, return the next in-game night.

The first nine ghosts have separate one-hour in-game time windows, and their photos can be gathered over more than one night. Your progress does not depend on completing all ten in a single real-world sitting.

Plan around the in-game clock
The 2026 hunt runs from 20:00 to 06:00 in-game. These are GTA Online clock times, not your local time. GTADB says an in-game hour lasts roughly two real-world minutes; treat that conversion as guide-reported planning advice, not an official Rockstar timing rule.

- Check the in-game time and the current-year schedule before travelling to a location.
- Prioritize reaching each ghost during its own one-hour window; a fast vehicle can make travel between distant locations more convenient, but the guide does not establish one as a requirement.
- Make sure all nine prerequisite photos have been accepted before the midnight-to-01:00 slot if you want to attempt the final ghost that night.
A current walkthrough reports completing the hunt solo on PC, so it does not appear to require a group. That report is not a guarantee that every player can finish the route in one continuous sitting; the multi-night option is the more flexible plan.
Remember that the hunt is seasonal
Rockstar’s Title Update 1.73 notes list the 2026 Halloween event as running October 1 through November 4. The times, locations, and reward described here are specific to the 2026 event and may change in a later year. Rockstar’s Halloween announcement provides seasonal context; consult current event information rather than assuming this year’s route remains valid.
