Yes—many Turtle Beach headsets work with a Windows PC, but the connection method and available features depend on the exact model and its Xbox, PlayStation, or PC version. A headset may connect through a USB transmitter, Bluetooth, Xbox Wireless, an Xbox Wireless Adapter, or a wired audio port. Check the model’s official guide before connecting or buying an accessory.
How to connect a Turtle Beach headset to a PC
Use the connection method specified for your headset. The same product family can have platform-specific versions, so do not assume instructions for an Xbox edition apply to a PlayStation edition.
USB wireless transmitter
For models that include a USB transmitter for PC, plug the transmitter into a USB port and turn on the headset. Then select the headset as Windows’ sound output and microphone input. Follow the model’s guide if it specifies an additional pairing step. Turtle Beach documents this route for supported models, including the PC-compatible Stealth 700 Gen 3: Stealth 700 Gen 3 product page.
Xbox Wireless or an Xbox Wireless Adapter
Turtle Beach’s support instructions for the Stealth 700 for Xbox One, Stealth 700 Gen 2 Xbox, and Stealth 600 Gen 2 Xbox describes connecting to Windows PCs with built-in Xbox Wireless. If the PC does not have built-in Xbox Wireless, the applicable headset may require an Xbox Wireless Adapter. Turtle Beach says the adapter is sold separately for the cited Stealth 700 Gen 2 Xbox and Stealth 600 Gen 2 Xbox models; confirm the requirement for your exact edition before purchasing. See the manufacturer’s Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows guidance as well.

- Convenient In-line Controls – Convenient in-line controls place Master Volume and Mic Mute right at your fingertips.
- Crystal Clear Chat – Turtle Beach’s renowned high-sensitivity mic picks-up your voice loud and clear, and can be removed when watching movies or listening to music.
- Versatile Compatibility – Works great with PS5, PS4, and PS4 Pro and works great with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC & Mobile devices with 3.5mm Connection.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is available on some Turtle Beach models, not universally. The Stealth 700 Gen 3, for example, supports Bluetooth alongside its USB transmitters. Check the product guide for pairing instructions and which functions are available over Bluetooth; a Bluetooth connection does not establish that every headset control or feature will work the same way.
Wired audio
A wired headset may connect through a PC’s supported audio port, but the connector and microphone support vary by model and computer. Turtle Beach’s general connection guidance does not establish one wired method that applies to every headset, so check the headset guide and the PC’s available ports before relying on a cable connection. See Turtle Beach’s PC headset connection overview.

Set Windows and your game to use the headset
- Connect or pair the headset using its model-specific instructions.
- Open Windows sound settings and select the Turtle Beach headset as the playback or output device.
- Select the headset microphone as the recording or input device.
- Open the game or voice-chat app’s audio settings and choose the headset for output and microphone input if those settings are separate from Windows.
Choosing the headset in Windows may not automatically change the audio device selected inside a game or communication app. Turtle Beach’s model-specific setup guidance covers this step for the supported Xbox and PlayStation models cited above.
What can differ on PC
PC compatibility does not guarantee console-identical controls, chat mixing, or customization. Turtle Beach documents changed PC volume behavior and the loss of separate game/chat control for the cited Xbox models. Those points apply to the models in the relevant support articles, not to every Turtle Beach headset.

Software support is also model- and operating-system-specific. The Elite Atlas Aero PC compatibility guide, for example, describes fuller PC functionality on Windows 10 and limited customization on other versions. Check the support page for your headset and OS rather than assuming a companion app exposes the same controls everywhere.

- Software and controls: Check the model’s guide for PC customization and any operating-system limitations.
For current examples, Turtle Beach specifies that the Stealth 700 Gen 3 supports PC on Windows 10 and up with USB 2.0 or higher. The company also lists the PC/PlayStation version of Stealth Pro II for PC with Windows 10 and up and USB 2.0 or higher. These requirements describe those product versions, not the whole Turtle Beach lineup; confirm the edition and connection hardware shown for the product you plan to use.
