Not necessarily. In the United States, Samsung lists a 6-foot straight power cord in the dishwasher kit included with its Delivery + Installation service. That does not confirm that every dishwasher sold separately—or by every retailer—has a cord in the box. Check your order contents and the installation guide for your exact model before delivery.
What Samsung’s delivery options tell you
Samsung’s US delivery instructions distinguish between service configurations. The checklist for Delivery + Installation lists a dishwasher kit containing a 6-foot straight power cord. The Delivery Only section describes the kit as an accessory required for installation service. These service details do not establish whether a cord is included in every model’s retail carton.

- Find the exact model number. Use it to locate the dishwasher’s installation guide and identify the permitted electrical connection and compatible parts.
- Check what your order includes. Confirm whether Samsung Delivery + Installation is part of the purchase, and ask the seller whether the power cord is in the product carton if it is not.
- Match the parts to the connection. Do not choose a cord or kit until you have checked the model guide and whether the home uses a receptacle or a hardwired connection.
- Check other hookup parts. Samsung says its dishwasher purchase does not include the water supply line or 90-degree elbow; consult the manual for the exact requirements.
Samsung’s dishwasher setup guide says its overview does not replace the installation guide included with the dishwasher. Follow that model-specific guide for connection details.

Receptacle connection
Samsung’s US delivery checklist describes an outlet setup requiring a grounded 110/120-volt, three-prong outlet, protected by a dedicated 15- or 20-amp breaker and located within five feet of the installation location. Samsung notes that a GFCI or Arc Fault GFCI outlet may be required depending on local building codes. These are Samsung US checklist details, not universal requirements for every country or installation.
Hardwired connection
Samsung’s setup guide also describes connecting power conductors in a junction box, and its delivery instructions address conditions for the company’s installation team when a dishwasher is hardwired. A power cord is not the right assumption for every setup: use the model guide and applicable local rules, and consult a qualified installer if you are unsure. Do not use an extension cord; Samsung’s support guidance says not to.

Other parts to check before installation
Electrical parts are only one part of the hookup. Samsung’s water-supply requirements say the water supply line and 90-degree elbow are not included with the dishwasher purchase. Check the manual and your service or purchase contents for the required fittings and materials.
