AOB News reported on October 7, 2026, that Amazon had the DJI Mini 3 for $269, compared with a stated $419 price—a reported saving of $150. The outlet called it the drone’s all-time low. That is a dated deal report, not confirmation that the offer is still live; check Amazon for the current price, seller, stock, Prime eligibility and exact bundle before buying.
What the October Prime Day deal report says
AOB News’s October 7, 2026 report put the DJI Mini 3 at Amazon at $269, down from a stated $419, and described the offer as the model’s lowest-ever price. The $150 saving and “all-time low” claim belong to that report; they are not an independently verified price-history record or a guarantee of today’s listing price. Read AOB News’s deal report.

- Prime eligibility: Check whether the price or delivery terms require Prime membership.
- Controller and bundle: Identify the included controller, battery count, charging equipment and other accessories. DJI’s store identifies an RC-N1 configuration, but that does not prove Amazon’s package is the same.

Is the DJI Mini 3 a good fit?
DJI describes the Mini 3 as a compact camera drone with 4K HDR video and True Vertical Shooting, a feature designed to frame footage vertically. Those capabilities may suit someone who wants aerial video for social platforms as well as conventional landscape footage. See DJI’s product page for its feature and specification details.
DJI lists flight times of up to 38 minutes with the standard Intelligent Flight Battery and up to 51 minutes with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus. These are manufacturer-stated figures, not independent flight-test results; actual flight time can vary with conditions and use.

Weight also depends on the battery. DJI gives the standard configuration a 248 g specification and describes it as under 249 g. With the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, the aircraft is about 290 g. Do not assume every configuration stays below a regulatory weight threshold: check the rules that apply where and how you plan to fly. DJI’s Mini 3 specifications and support information provide product details and direct users to follow local regulations.

If the live listing matches the reported product and includes the controller and battery you want, $269 would be $150 below the $419 comparison price stated in AOB News’s October 7 report. The value depends on the package: a different controller, fewer batteries or missing charging accessories can change what you need to spend to get the setup you want. Compare the listing’s contents with your intended use before treating the headline discount as the whole story.

For longer manufacturer-rated flight time, look for the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus—but account for its added weight and confirm compatibility and whether it is included or sold separately. If you need more storage or charging capacity, check the live bundle and DJI compatibility information before adding a microSD card, battery or charging hub.
