DJI does not currently list any tablet as compatible with the DJI Fly app. Its download center says the app is supported for download only on phones, and its published recommended-device lists name phones rather than tablets. A tablet that meets the minimum operating-system requirement is not therefore confirmed as compatible.
What DJI’s compatibility information says
DJI’s DJI Fly page shows version 1.21.12 and lists these minimum operating-system requirements:

- iOS: 13.0 or later. DJI recommends iPhone 11 or newer.
- Android: 9.0 or later. DJI recommends mainstream flagship Android phones released after 2019.
The recommended-device lists name phones, not tablets. DJI’s Download Center is more explicit: “Only supported for download on phones.” Together, these statements mean DJI does not identify a tablet as officially supported in its current guidance. They do not establish that every tablet is technically unable to run the app.
Why meeting the minimum OS requirement is not enough
An iPad running iOS 13 or later, or an Android tablet running Android 9 or later, may appear to meet the listed software minimum. That alone does not verify compatibility: the operating-system requirement is not a tablet model approval, and DJI’s published recommendations are for phones.

DJI says devices absent from its compatibility list have not been verified for regular use. A device that meets the system requirements may theoretically work, but DJI does not guarantee stable performance. DJI also notes that additional device support may be added as testing and development continue, so its published guidance can change with app updates.
How to check a specific tablet
- Find the tablet’s exact model name and installed operating-system version in its settings.
- Check DJI’s current DJI Fly page and the Download Center for updated requirements and device guidance.
- Look for the exact tablet model on DJI’s compatibility information. Do not treat a phone with a similar name, or a matching OS version, as confirmation.
- If the tablet is not listed, regard it as unverified rather than officially supported. DJI recommends downloading the app and checking compatibility; if a listed device has a problem, its Support page directs users to DJI Support.
What to expect if your tablet is unlisted
DJI says it cannot test every mobile device as hardware and software change frequently. For an unlisted tablet, the available guidance does not establish reliable installation, operation, or stable performance. Trying the app may show whether it works on that particular device, but a successful installation is not the same as DJI confirming compatibility.

DJI’s guidance does not establish that a tablet mount, controller accessory, or other add-on can make an unsupported tablet compatible.
