Does the Switch 2 edition support local co-op?
The official sources reviewed do not confirm whether this Switch 2 edition supports couch co-op, how many players can join locally, how accounts are set up, or whether Nintendo Switch Online is required. Blizzard has supported couch co-op on consoles generally, and older patch notes mention local co-op fixes, but those materials do not establish the Switch 2 edition’s setup. A community forum claim about two-player co-op is not an official confirmation.

Can you play Diablo IV offline on Switch 2?
Offline play is not confirmed by the official Switch 2 sources reviewed. A community discussion claims an internet connection is required, but that is not a verified publisher statement for this edition. Blizzard’s older PC launch requirements listed broadband internet for the PC version; those PC requirements do not establish the Switch 2 version’s network behavior. Check current Blizzard support guidance for a definitive platform-specific answer.
How much storage does Diablo IV need on Switch 2?
No official Switch 2 download size, installed footprint, update size, or recommended free-space figure for Age of Hatred Collection is stated in the sources reviewed. Check the collection’s current Nintendo eShop listing or Blizzard support materials for the actual figure before downloading.

Nintendo says Switch 2 has 256 GB of internal storage, with some of that capacity reserved for system use. Therefore, the console’s stated capacity is not the amount available for games after system data and other downloads. Nintendo’s Switch 2 information describes the internal capacity and storage expansion support. Nintendo also says no individual game currently requires additional storage space to play; that general statement does not reveal this game’s download size or guarantee how much free space its installation and updates will need.
Do not use the 90 GB figure in Blizzard’s older PC system requirements as a Switch 2 estimate. It applies to the PC version, not this console edition.

Can you use a regular microSD card for more Switch 2 storage?
Nintendo specifies microSD Express cards for storing downloaded software, updates, and DLC on Switch 2. Check that a card is explicitly labeled microSD Express and confirm Nintendo’s current guidance before buying; a regular microSD card is not the specified format for this use. Nintendo’s published material does not establish a Diablo IV-specific card requirement or a recommended card capacity. Consider expansion only after checking the game’s current size and your available internal space.
