Before treating that date as settled, check the enacted Article 25 and the Town Clerk’s official publication or notice. Those records are also needed to confirm the final definition of a short-term rental, any exceptions or penalties, and whether existing listings, operators, or bookings receive transition or grandfathering provisions.

How town rules relate to county registration
Onondaga County has a separate short-term-rental legal and registration framework.
