To show AI memory compounding in 60 seconds, demonstrate three things across separate conversations: a useful detail is selectively saved, later context adds to or revises it, and a fresh conversation retrieves that context to produce a better-targeted response. Keep the conversation, memory ledger, and retrieved context visible together. The viewer should be able to tell what persisted and how it affected the answer.
What “compounding” should mean on screen
Define compounding as a sequence of observable operations, not a claim that the model has become smarter: information persists beyond the current exchange; new information may add to or revise the retained representation; and a later interaction retrieves relevant information and uses it.

Session context and persistent memory are different. Redis describes session memory as ordered events from a conversation, while long-term memory holds standalone facts or events intended to be useful in later conversations. Microsoft Foundry likewise distinguishes immediate session context from knowledge retained across sessions. Neither distinction means that every message becomes a durable memory.
Memory is selective and managed. Extraction decides what may be useful, and consolidation can combine or resolve overlapping information. Google Cloud’s Agent Platform Memory Bank documentation puts it plainly: “Not all user-agent interactions result in memories being created or updated.”

Retrieval is the bridge between saved information and a later answer. If the system supports it, show which relevant memory was retrieved for the new request. A saved-memory panel alone does not prove that the assistant used the information.
A practical 60-second beat sheet
| Time | What to show | What the viewer should understand |
|---|---|---|
| 0–8 seconds | Introduce a simple assistant task and one low-sensitivity, durable preference, such as a preferred response format or project constraint. | The example is easy to follow, and the later answer cannot be explained by a long prompt containing all the context. |
| 8–20 seconds | In the first interaction, have the user state that preference naturally. Show a compact memory-ledger entry labeled as a save or extraction event. | A specific detail was selected for persistence; this is not a claim that every turn is stored. |
| 20–34 seconds | Start a separate interaction and provide a second relevant fact, or correct the first one. Show whether the system adds, updates, or consolidates the entry. | The retained representation can change as new context arrives. If the system cannot show a revision, present an addition rather than staging a fake update. |
| 34–50 seconds | Open a fresh conversation and request an output that benefits from both earlier details. Briefly show the retrieved context before the response. | The answer draws on context that crossed conversation boundaries, and the retrieval step is visible. |
| 50–60 seconds | Show an available inspection or control step, such as viewing, editing, or deleting a memory, or state a specific limitation. End with one precise claim about what the demonstration showed. | Persistent memory is useful but not infallible, and the closing claim is limited to the behavior actually shown. |

Arrange the screen so the evidence is legible
Keep three synchronized elements visible: the user-assistant exchange, a memory ledger showing additions or revisions, and the memory retrieved for the final response. Use short labels such as “saved,” “updated,” and “retrieved” only when they describe operations the implementation actually performs.

- Use one low-sensitivity preference and a small number of related facts. A narrow example makes the persistence easier to see than a broad personal profile.
- Separate conversations clearly with a new-chat indicator or equivalent. Otherwise, viewers may mistake ordinary context-window carryover for persistent memory.
- Make event timing clear: the memory should appear after the interaction that produced it, and retrieved context should appear before or alongside the answer it informs.
- If the data is simulated, pre-scripted, or manually edited, label it on screen. Do not imply autonomous extraction or revision when a person or prompt supplied the change.
- Avoid cramming the whole history into the final prompt. The demonstration depends on showing which context came from memory rather than from the latest user message.
Bound the claim and show the controls
Persistent information can be stale, incorrect, sensitive, or malicious. Google’s Agent Platform Memory Bank documentation warns that sensitive-data exclusions are not infallible and identifies memory poisoning as a risk. It advises assuming that some sensitive or personal data could still be stored. Use a harmless example, make inspection or correction visible where supported, and avoid presenting memory as a perfect record.

- 2.4GHz RF wireless technology, built-in docking bay stores receiver for easy pack up and portability; works well as a presenter clicker wireless or computer clicker for presentations.
Do not promise a control just because another product offers it. Google documents scoped collections, extraction and consolidation, similarity retrieval, time-to-live settings, revisions, and identity isolation; Microsoft Foundry documents memory item operations and retention controls, while identifying its offering as a preview. The controls available in the demo depend on the system being shown.
Redis’s interactive demo follows a customer across two conversations, exposes what each memory tier stores and when it changes, and explicitly says its browser experience does not connect to a live Agent Memory service. It can illustrate a memory workflow, but it is not evidence of live-service runtime behavior.

Use benchmark numbers only with their context
A 60-second product demonstration is not a benchmark. If you add performance figures, identify the publisher, configuration, dataset, and evaluation method in the same sentence or graphic; a result from one setup does not establish how memory systems perform generally.
Redis AI Research reported 86.1% task-averaged accuracy for its “Remis + Instruct” configuration on LongMemEval Small in June 2026, scoring higher than Instruct in all six task types. The evaluation reset the store for each example and used the official GPT-4o binary judge. This is a Redis-reported result for that configuration and method, not a general guarantee.

A 2026 Microsoft Research publication reported 97.2% retention precision and a 58% store reduction from deduplication-based consolidation on its VSCode issue-tracking dataset of 13,000 issues and 120,000 events. On a LongMemEval comparison with a 200,000-token context budget, it reported raw retrieval accuracy of 70.1% versus 71.2%, with overlapping 95% confidence intervals, and a 13.3 percentage-point preference-recall improvement at S-tier scale of 50 sessions. These are study-specific results, not directly interchangeable with the Redis figure.
