Neko Health, the preventive-health startup co-founded by Spotify founder Daniel Ek and Hjalmar Nilsonne, opened its first U.S. clinic for bookings on September 24, 2026, at 300 Lafayette Street in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood. Neko announced a $499 scan price. The roughly hour-long appointment combines imaging, cardiovascular checks, body-composition analysis, blood tests and a clinician discussion; it is not an MRI or a conventional full-body radiology scan.

What happens during a Neko Health visit?

Neko describes its service as a non-invasive, radiation-free assessment that brings scanning, analysis and a clinician consultation together in one clinic visit of around 60 minutes. The company’s September 2026 opening announcement lists these components:

  • Skin imaging: a 360-degree exam using 6,000 images, according to Neko.
  • Cardiovascular assessment: checks intended to assess cardiovascular measures.
  • Body-composition analysis: included in the scan; Neko’s July 2026 update also mentions wearables integration.
  • Blood testing: on-site testing focused on more than 50 biomarkers, as described by Neko.
  • Clinician review: time to discuss results and possible next steps.

The figures describing the imaging and biomarkers are company-reported. Neko’s materials reviewed for this article do not name compatible wearable brands or say whether customers need to bring a device, so check with the clinic before relying on a particular watch or tracker.

Where is the U.S. clinic, and what does the scan cost?

Neko announced its first U.S. site at 300 Lafayette Street, New York, NY. The company announced a September 24, 2026 opening and a $499 scan price, then said the clinic opened for bookings on that date. Price and availability can change, so confirm current details through Neko Health’s U.S. site before booking. The U.S. launch materials mention HSA/FSA eligibility, but do not establish that health insurance covers the scan.

Elebase USB to USB C Adapter for iPhone 18 Pro Max,USBC Car Charger Adapter
  • Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. • Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
  • Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
  • Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
  • 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.

What is known—and not known—about the scan’s health value?

Neko’s announcements explain what it says the appointment includes, but they do not independently establish the accuracy of its tests, whether screening with this service benefits patients, or whether it improves health outcomes. A result is not a diagnosis simply because a scan or blood test flags it; interpretation by a qualified clinician in the context of a person’s health and history matters.

Preventive full-body scanning has also drawn broader questions about cost and effectiveness. In a January 2025 report, Axios summarized criticism and noted that broad screening scans are not recommended by professional medical organizations for asymptomatic people. That report predates Neko’s U.S. launch and concerns the wider debate, not evidence specific to the New York service. Anyone weighing a scan should ask what a finding could mean, what follow-up might be needed, and whether the service is appropriate for their circumstances.
