There is no evidence-based universal winner between DanDomain and GoDaddy for Danish hosting. DanDomain is the clearer fit if Danish-language WordPress support and a provider-stated Danish data-centre location matter most. GoDaddy is easier to price-check from its Danish pages: it displayed first-year prices for shared and managed WordPress hosting, but those introductory figures do not establish renewal cost or the lowest total cost.
The comparison below reflects provider pages accessed on 7 October 2026. Prices and plan details can change; check the live terms before ordering.

What the Danish plan pages show
The providers do not expose enough comparable information to calculate a reliable like-for-like total. DanDomain’s reviewed page showed package names but not dependable current prices or complete limits. GoDaddy’s amounts below were displayed for a one-year first term, not verified renewal prices.

These are different product types as well as different providers: Economy is shared hosting, while GoDaddy’s other listed prices are for managed WordPress tiers. Do not treat their prices as direct equivalents. The available figures also do not establish which provider costs less over multiple years.

WordPress, shared hosting, and website builders are different choices
Choose WordPress hosting if you want a WordPress site
DanDomain describes one-click WordPress installation, AI tools for text, images, and design, Danish-language support, and customer data stored in Danish data centres. These are provider-described features; a stated server location does not by itself establish measured latency or a contractual data-residency commitment. DanDomain WordPress hosting
GoDaddy sells managed WordPress plans as a separate category from its shared hosting. Its Danish page displays Basic, Deluxe, and Ultimate, with features that vary by tier. Review the current plan matrix for the specific storage, staging, commerce, and management features you need. GoDaddy managed WordPress
Rank #2
Choose shared hosting if you need broader CMS choice or want to manage the site
GoDaddy says its shared hosting supports self-installation of WordPress, Joomla, Magento, and Drupal. It also explains that shared plans divide CPU and memory among users, so a shared tier may not suit a resource-intensive site. GoDaddy shared hosting
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →A website builder subscription is not interchangeable with hosting
DanDomain distinguishes its website-builder service from WordPress hosting: it says it handles maintenance and security for the builder, while customers using WordPress hosting are responsible for WordPress maintenance and security. Its article also distinguishes builder support from WordPress support. DanDomain’s product-scope explanation

GoDaddy likewise separates its site-building products from hosting: its help page says Airo does not support WordPress and describes Websites + Marketing as a template-based editor with marketing tools. If you want WordPress, choose a WordPress hosting product rather than assuming a builder subscription includes it. GoDaddy product comparison
Which provider is the better fit?
Consider DanDomain if Danish-language WordPress support and stated Danish hosting are priorities
DanDomain’s WordPress page explicitly describes Danish-language support and Danish data-centre storage. Its package prices and full limits were not visible in the reviewed page content, however, so ask for the current written offer and compare the same contract length, tax basis, and included services before deciding. Consider GoDaddy if you want visible first-term prices or a choice of hosting type
GoDaddy’s Danish pages displayed first-term pricing for one shared plan and three managed WordPress tiers. This makes the initial offer easier to inspect, but not the eventual bill: the displayed prices do not establish renewal rates or a multi-year total. Shared hosting also means resources are divided among users. Shared hosting · Managed WordPress
Do not choose on speed or support quality claims alone
DanDomain’s “up to four times faster” statement is a provider claim about its optimization plugin, not an independent head-to-head result. The available material does not establish an independent speed, uptime, or support-quality winner between the two providers.

- Match the product and term. Compare shared hosting with shared hosting, or managed WordPress with managed WordPress, for the same initial period.
- Confirm the tax basis. DanDomain states prices in DKK excluding VAT; check whether each displayed offer and checkout total uses the same basis.
- Ask for renewal pricing. Get the renewal rate and billing interval in writing, not just the first-term monthly equivalent.
- Price every required extra. Check domain renewal, email, SSL after any included period, backups, security, migration, and staging charges.
- Match limits to the site. Confirm number of sites, storage, resource limits, CMS compatibility, and any ecommerce or staging requirements.
- Verify the support scope. Ask whether help covers hosting infrastructure, WordPress itself, site updates, or only a separate website builder, and which languages are available.
- Check the service terms. Review cancellation, refund, data-location, and backup-restoration terms directly with the provider.

Performance and total-cost limits
No independent head-to-head performance test is established here, and the provider pages do not settle comparative uptime. Nor do the available details establish DanDomain’s current comparable price, renewal rate, complete plan limits, or either provider’s total multi-year cost. Treat performance and price conclusions as unproven until you have comparable specifications and terms.
