There is not enough comparable evidence to call five full-motion TV mounts independently reviewed winners. The strongest documented shortlist is the ECHOGEAR EGLF3 and EGLF2, with two SANUS models that suit narrower use cases or need more verification. Choose by your TV’s weight and VESA pattern, the wall and stud spacing, and the movement your room actually needs—not screen size alone.
How to choose a full-motion TV mount
Start with the television’s manual or specifications, then check each item against the exact mount model and its installation manual:

- Weight: Confirm the TV’s weight is within the mount’s stated limit. Check whether the TV weight includes its stand, as the mount and TV documentation may define it differently.
- VESA pattern: Match the horizontal and vertical mounting-hole spacing on the TV to the mount’s supported patterns.
- Wall and studs: Confirm the wall construction, stud spacing, and permitted installation method for that mount. A mount’s fit by screen size does not establish that it can be safely installed on your wall.
- Movement and reach: Compare extension, swivel, and tilt with your seating positions. A longer arm can help angle a TV toward a side seat, but projects farther from the wall when extended.
- Room-specific details: Consider folded depth, post-install leveling, lateral adjustment, and cable routing where those features matter.
These checks are more useful than a generic ranking: a mount can fit a TV’s diagonal size yet fail to match its weight, VESA pattern, or wall setup.

Which option fits your situation?
For a well-documented general-purpose pick: ECHOGEAR EGLF3
The EGLF3 has a broad stated screen-size range, defined weight and VESA limits, and a 19-inch extension with 140-degree swivel. TechRadar’s observations are the independent review evidence available here; they are that publication’s findings, not firsthand testing for this article. Its reported drawbacks matter in tighter rooms: the extended arm projects from the wall, and tilt adjustment can be fiddly.
For 24-inch stud spacing or greater extension: ECHOGEAR EGLF2
ECHOGEAR lists the EGLF2 for 16- or 24-inch stud spacing and a 22-inch extension. It also has higher stated TV-size and weight limits than the EGLF3, but the maximum numbers do not make it suitable unless the TV’s VESA pattern and the wall installation both match.

The MF203 is specified for TVs up to 37 inches and 60 lb. Its two faceplate patterns cover different hole layouts, so check the TV’s VESA spacing and the faceplate you intend to use.

For the SANUS OLF18: verify before deciding
The available SANUS product information establishes that it is a full-motion mount for 37–80-inch TVs, but not the weight limit, VESA compatibility, articulation measurements, or installation constraints needed to judge a fit. Consult its technical drawing or installation manual before purchase.
