Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
Phantom Liberty is a spy-thriller expansion adding a new district, story, skill tree, side activities, weapons and items. CD PROJEKT RED’s 2023 launch announcement lists PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A separate official article says the Nintendo Switch 2 Ultimate Edition includes the expansion. The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine
CD PROJEKT RED says The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered includes both Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine. It became available September 29, 2026, and the publisher describes it as a free upgrade for owners on qualifying platforms. The Witcher 3 remaster and upgrade eligibility
The publisher’s September 29, 2026 announcement lists free upgrades for existing owners on GOG, Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as Switch 2 players who own the original Switch version. It also names Battle.net and Microsoft Store as purchase options. On supported platforms, the remaster replaces the Complete Edition and includes both expansions. The official game page describes visual and performance improvements, revised combat and animation, a reworked skill system, cross-platform mod support and other enhancements. These are publisher feature descriptions, not independent performance measurements. Official The Witcher 3 page.
Cyberpunk editions and older consoles
The publisher describes Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition as bundling the base game, Phantom Liberty and released updates. Its November 2023 announcement said physical copies would be available in select markets from December 5, 2023; that announcement does not establish current local stock or pricing. For PS4 and Xbox One owners, CD PROJEKT RED’s previous-generation support notice said that after Patch 1.6, further new content updates and improvements would be made for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It also said Phantom Liberty was developed for those newer platforms, not PS4 or Xbox One. - Pick the premise first. Choose V’s future-city mercenary story or Geralt’s dark-fantasy monster-slayer role.
- Decide whether an expansion is part of your plan. Look to Phantom Liberty for spy-thriller content, or to The Witcher 3 if you want Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine in the remastered package.
- Match the edition to your platform and ownership. Confirm expansion inclusion, upgrade eligibility and storefront availability before paying; the announced bundles and upgrades are not identical across platforms.
If you are still undecided, ask yourself which protagonist and setting you want to spend time with—not which game supposedly wins an unsupported universal ranking.
