Its defining feature is a nightly record: instead of seeing each platform’s numbers in isolation, creators can compare successive snapshots to see how a post changes over time. Pang’s account describes the product and its implementation; collection methods, platform compliance and service reliability have not been independently verified.
What is MyCreatorPulse?
Pang describes MyCreatorPulse as a cross-platform dashboard for Malaysian creators who publish on several social apps. The product page says it places followers, views, likes and comments side by side, and shows post-level growth and historical comparisons. The stated platform list is TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Douyin and Xiaohongshu.

The product’s stated approach is to read public numbers without requiring a platform login, then save nightly snapshots. That makes the history—not just a current total—the core distinction: a creator can see what changed between records. The product page says data is retained for as long as the creator keeps the account. Those are product claims, not independently tested collection or retention results. Pang said the app was in a pilot with a handful of creators when he wrote about building it; that cohort may have changed.
Why not just use TikTok or Instagram Insights?
Native analytics are the better source for private or account-specific measures that a public-facing dashboard cannot see. MyCreatorPulse’s stated case is different: creators who post across services can get one view of public metrics and preserve a cross-platform history, rather than switching between separate platform dashboards.

This is not a claim that the app replaces native insights or provides every metric those services offer. Public numbers can be rounded, hidden or unavailable, and update schedules differ. Nor does the available documentation establish that MyCreatorPulse uses any particular platform API. YouTube’s Analytics API and Reporting API describe channel and content-owner analytics; the Reporting API produces daily reports for unique 24-hour periods. Those docs do not show how this app gathers public data.
TikTok’s retrieved mini-drama analytics documentation concerns that specific developer product, whose modules refresh daily and may be delayed by up to two days. It is not evidence of general public creator-stat access or of MyCreatorPulse’s pipeline. TikTok’s separate Query Creator Info documentation describes a publishing API requiring an access token and the video.publish scope, not an analytics endpoint.

How the app treats missing and imprecise numbers
Public metrics do not have the same meaning or precision across platforms. Pang’s examples show why a dashboard must distinguish an unknown value from zero:
- YouTube may display subscriber counts in rounded form, such as 12.3K, rather than an exact public count.
- Instagram does not show views for photo posts, and a hidden like count is unknown—not zero.
- Xiaohongshu does not publicly show views, according to Pang’s account.
That distinction matters in comparisons and calculations. If a platform does not publish a metric, a system cannot reliably infer it from the public page. Engagement rates also need a relevant denominator: comparing a post’s interactions against views only makes sense when views are available for that post. Pang’s stated rule is: “if a platform doesn’t publish a number, the app doesn’t guess it.”
How Pang says the system is built and scheduled
Pang reports using Next.js 15 App Router, React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind v4 for the application; PostgreSQL hosted on Neon with Drizzle for data; and Better Auth for authentication. He lists Vercel in the Singapore region, Resend for email and Cloudflare for DNS. This is the builder’s description of the stack, not an independent infrastructure audit.
He describes two scheduled jobs, with times given in UTC and Malaysia time:
Rank #4
| Job | Scheduled time | Malaysia time | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Snapshot run | 18:00 UTC | 2:00 a.m. | Record the scheduled metrics snapshot. |
| Digest | 00:00 UTC | 8:00 a.m. | Send the scheduled digest. |
According to Pang, each job claims its work date before processing so that a duplicate invocation does nothing. He says the implementation pins dates explicitly to Malaysia time and runs checks with TZ=UTC to expose bugs that depend on the environment’s timezone. These are implementation details he reported, not independently reproduced behavior.

What the build process taught its author
Pang says checks run during the build and that regression cases are replayed against an in-memory Postgres implementation. He also recounts a test that accidentally depended on a production environment variable and prevented deploys from going out. His takeaway was to keep tests independent of production-only configuration and to check date-sensitive behavior under an explicit timezone. The incident is his account of the project, not a claim about Vercel deploy behavior generally.

There is a practical reason a Malaysian creator might want public figures in one place: campaign work can involve multiple social platforms, while the visible numbers and their history remain separated. AnyMind Group’s 2026 announcement, based on data from its AnyTag platform, reported that TikTok’s share of campaigns in Malaysia rose from 8% in 2023 to 44% in 2025, while Instagram had a 48% campaign share in 2025. These are campaign-share figures from one commercial platform—not the share of creators on each service or a census of Malaysia’s creator market. See AnyMind Group’s Malaysia report announcement for its framing.
Malaysia’s Competition Commission interim digital-economy report discusses creator monetization and names Nuffnang and Involve Asia as intermediaries advertisers may use to reach creators. It also describes TikTok Creator Marketplace as a way for brands to view influencer reach, views and demographics and contact creators. These examples provide market context; they do not establish integrations with MyCreatorPulse. The commission’s report is available at MyCC.
What to check before relying on it
A public-metrics dashboard is useful only if its coverage and limitations fit the job. Before using MyCreatorPulse for reporting or decisions, clarify the points that its product description alone cannot settle:
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems- Collection and permissions: ask how each platform’s public metrics are collected and whether the method complies with that platform’s current terms. The available information does not establish platform approval or a specific API integration.
- Coverage: confirm which metrics are available for each platform and post type, and how the dashboard represents hidden, rounded or unavailable values.
- Timing: ask when a snapshot is taken, whether data can arrive late, and whether older posts can be backfilled. A nightly schedule does not by itself guarantee fresh or complete data.
- History and account removal: confirm how long records remain, what happens after an account is closed, and whether historical data can be exported or deleted.
- Price and cancellation: check the live terms before signing up, since promotional pricing and offer dates change.
Pricing and availability
At the time captured, the product website advertised RM199 per month and a beta-week offer of RM99 for the first month, shown for October 5–11, with a seven-day money-back offer on the first payment. The page also said users could cancel at any time. These are time-sensitive terms; confirm the current price, dates, refund conditions and cancellation process on the MyCreatorPulse website before acting.
