1. Craftsman stud finder
Reviewers reportedly described missed studs, inconsistent detection, false indications of live cables, and failures even with fresh batteries. SlashGear reported a rating of 3.9 out of 5 from over 500 ratings in its September 2025 article.

If considering one, focus on whether it detects studs consistently in the wall conditions you need to scan, and whether its live-wire indication behaves reliably. A user complaint is not proof that every unit will misread a wall, but inconsistent detection can undermine confidence in the tool.
2. Craftsman V60 3-in-1 cordless lawn mower
Reported complaints included wheels binding, missing parts, rust, motor problems, short battery runtime, and difficulty cutting taller grass. SlashGear reported a 3.7-out-of-5 rating in September 2025.

For a particular mower, inspect its condition and included parts, then consider whether its reported cutting performance and runtime suit your lawn. The complaints point to both possible condition issues and performance concerns; they do not show how often either occurs across all units.
3. Craftsman 20V Max cordless leaf blower
SlashGear summarized reports of batteries that would not charge or hold power, including cases where a replacement did not resolve the problem. One user also said the airflow did not meet the advertised 90 miles per hour. The article reported 3.9 out of 5 from over 1,500 recommendations in September 2025.

Check battery charging and runtime as well as airflow for the intended cleanup task. The 90-mph complaint is one user’s report, not an independent measurement of the blower’s output.
4. Craftsman gas portable generator
Reported experiences included a generator that would not run, fuel leaking from the bottom, starting problems, and a fuel line that one reviewer said had not been installed. SlashGear reported 3.9 out of 5 and described the Amazon review count as a couple hundred in September 2025.

Starting and fuel-system condition are important checks for this category. Treat reports of leakage or a missing fuel line seriously when assessing a specific generator, but do not infer from those reviews that every unit has a fuel-system defect.
5. Craftsman V20 cordless hammer drill
The roundup describes complaints about batteries that would not hold a charge, including reports that replacement batteries did not fix the problem, as well as weak hammering performance. The retrieved article text does not give a precise rating snapshot for this drill.

For a specific drill, assess battery endurance and whether its hammering action is adequate for the material and work involved. The article’s user-review summary does not establish a compatible replacement battery or prove that a battery issue affects all units.
