The cited MP600 PRO LPX 2TB page lists up to 7,100 MB/s sequential read and 6,800 MB/s sequential write. The cited MP600 PRO 1TB page lists up to 7,000 MB/s read and 6,850 MB/s write. These are CORSAIR’s published maximum specifications for those particular SKUs, not guaranteed results in every computer. Capacity, host hardware, and operating conditions can affect performance.

The heatsink can determine whether it fits
CORSAIR positions the low-profile LPX for PS5 and the larger-heatsink XT for desktop PCs. That positioning is useful guidance, but it does not establish compatibility with every PS5 or PC configuration. Check the host’s M.2 slot requirements and physical clearance, and follow the host manufacturer’s installation guidance before choosing a heatsink-equipped drive.
