Set the seven machine rows to 0001000 / 001100 / 100001 / 000000 / 000000 / 000000 / 100000. That means turning on six machines: row 1, position 4; row 2, positions 3 and 4; row 3, positions 1 and 6; and row 7, position 1. Leave every machine in rows 4, 5 and 6 off.
Get inside Wear’em & Wash’Em
The laundromat is in Central, near East Park Station. Its entrance is blocked by floating debris connected to red growths. Follow those connections and destroy the growths to clear the entrance; this obstacle is separate from the machine puzzle inside.

Start at the left wall as you enter, then read the banks in sequence around the room. The two faces of each center island count as separate rows, and the right wall is split into a rear and front section.

Use the physical bank positions for the layout. Stacked drums may share one slot in the note’s layout, so leave every position marked 0 off rather than counting each visible drum as a separate slot.

After setting the machines, go to the rear break room. When the pattern is correct, the back wall opens to reveal stairs into a basement passage. A walkthrough reports a Health Upgrade Point in a chest in the basement.

The laundromat is also one of six Secret Hideouts associated with the Backroom Espionage trophy. That is a broader hideout-completion detail, not a reward earned from this puzzle alone.
