There are six Secret Hideouts in Control Resonant, one each in Downtown, Central, the West Incursion Zone, the Evacuation Zone, The Park, and The Unknown. Solve each storefront puzzle to open its hidden passage and claim a Health Upgrade. The Underpass has no Secret Hideout. Completing all six unlocks the Backroom Espionage trophy or achievement, and the hideouts remain available during post-story free roam.
Remedy describes Control Resonant’s Manhattan as a collection of distinct zones with their own encounters, lore, and secrets. The Secret Hideouts are six of those zone-specific discoveries; the solutions below are from walkthrough guides, not official Remedy puzzle instructions. Where are all the Secret Hideouts in Control Resonant?
Look for a concealed entrance in each zone’s listed storefront. The two Atlantis locations are different puzzles: use the appliance sequence in Downtown and the register code in The Park.

What to check if a hideout puzzle will not work
Clear Central’s exterior obstruction
At the laundromat, a red barrier outside may block access. Follow its red lines to the connected destructible objects and clear them before trying the washer settings.

Check gravity orientation in The Unknown
The Unknown has two opposite gravity orientations. If the marker directs you to an art gallery rather than Pulse Fitness, flip gravity 180 degrees to reach the gym side.
What do the hideouts give you?
Each hideout crate contains one Health Upgrade Point, according to the walkthrough guides. The unofficial guide reports that three points increase maximum health, so six points from all six hideouts amount to two maximum-health increases. This conversion is guide-reported gameplay information.

How does the Backroom Espionage trophy unlock?
Open all six Secret Hideouts. The guides associate that completion with the Backroom Espionage trophy or achievement. The unofficial guide says it triggers as soon as you solve the final puzzle, before descending to the last chest. PowerPyx reports that the hideouts can be completed in any order and are not missable because they remain available in post-story free roam.

Is there a Secret Hideout in the Underpass?
No. The six hideouts are in Downtown, Central, the West Incursion Zone, the Evacuation Zone, The Park, and The Unknown; the Underpass is not one of them.
