At the Vanished Station, Mold can conduct electricity across broken cables: remove it from the device spots, but leave the cable bridges intact. After both platforms are calibrated, defeat the Mold enemies and speak to Dr. Florez.
Start Power Lines and reroute the Central stations
Power Lines becomes available after Arish’s Briefing. PowerPyx identifies the starting location as the Field Office in Central and describes the quest as the fifth main mission in the Contain the Crisis questline. Track the mission and follow its station markers; AllThingsHow says the first three stations can be completed in a different sequence, so the order below is a convenient route rather than a required one.
- Go to Arish at the Field Office in Central after completing Arish’s Briefing, then track Power Lines.
- Reroute the Perimeter Station.
- Reroute the Factory Station.
- Reroute the East Park Station.
- Head to the surface and help the survivors, following the quest marker toward the Vanished Station.
These objectives and the starting location are reported by PowerPyx’s Power Lines walkthrough; the Field Office and route flexibility are described by AllThingsHow.
Use Mold to preserve the Vanished Station power route
At the Vanished Station, Mold is part of the electrical puzzle: when it grows across broken cable ends, it can conduct power. The goal is not to clear every clump. Keep the Mold bridging the cables so electricity can still reach the tuning device; remove Mold only where it blocks device placement. AltChar’s guide describes powering the generators to grow Mold, then moving power as needed to clear the placement spots while retaining the bridges.

Calibrate Platform A
Calibrate Platform A first, as AllThingsHow recommends. Follow the station’s power route and clear Mold from the required device positions without destroying any clump that connects broken cable ends. Place the calibration devices and activate the machine.
Calibrate Platform B
- Turn on power to grow Mold across the relevant broken cable ends.
- Move power away from the growth route when the puzzle requires it.
- Remove Mold from the device placement positions, leaving the middle cable-bridging clumps intact.
- Place the calibration devices and activate the machine.
AltChar details this Platform B sequence in its Power Lines quest walkthrough. AllThingsHow also warns that destroying the cable-bridging Mold cuts power to the tuning device.

Defeat the Mold enemies and finish the quest
Once both platforms are calibrated, a Mold encounter appears, according to AltChar. Defeat the enemies, return upstairs, and speak to Dr. Florez to complete Power Lines. PowerPyx reports one Living Shard as the quest reward; this is a walkthrough-reported reward, not an official confirmation.
